Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol have continued their upward trajectory with seemingly timeless releases that have gone to shape what they believe in and work towards.
Sauti Sol were recently awarded by Boomplay for achieving various streaming milestones on the app. Now the most streamed Kenyan acts with close to 7 million streams, Sauti Sol were awarded plaques for their album 'Live and Die In Africa', Song Short And Sweet featuring Nyashinki, Melanin featuring Patoranking and overall artiste streams.
"Thank you guys so much for the support, our music is doing great and that makes us sure that you're enjoying the music. Keep it Boomplay for all your music satisfaction!" they said after getting the plaques.
We sat down with the band and talked about their music, their latest album 'The Midnight Train', working with Burna Boy and Davido as well as their love for football.
