There are moments in life when everyone wants to see everything in the fastest motion, there are also stages when we just want to see things in the slowest motion. Life, like a dice, has different sides turned to different people at a particular time and this is why your friend/neighbour's lifestyle shouldn't determine yours, the dice has different sides and faces.
The moments we wish for the fastest motion are those moments of wilderness experiences where there are nothing and no one left when you are in a tight corner, very close to a strong wall. These moments, people seem not to see what you are facing or feel what you are feeling. They can't even hear your silent cries, neither do they seem to listen to your lamentations. The only option that seems to be left is to desperately wait for the time to move fast and pass by. But unfortunately, these are the points when everything seems to be slower than usual- The trying moments.
The moments we wish for the slowest moments are those times when roses bloom from our thorns and everything seems to be in our favour when we get our request at the tap of a finger and everyone is there to stand by our side. These moments, you can feel the breeze, you can breathe in and out without fears and everyone understands you easily- The pure joy moment.
Although it is believed that the trying moments last longer than the pure joy moments, I believe "hard times don't last, hard people, do" and "no conditions is permanent." When it seems your back is against the wall, don't give up. When it seems the world is at your feet, don't pass boundaries.
Above all, don't rush things, don't be in haste to make decisions on either phase of life you are facing. Everything, at due time and season, is gonna make sense and look beautiful. Don't be anxious about when you'll leave that stage of your life, instead, do your best to make sure that you are not complacent with that stage. Aim high, hopes high but "DON'T RUSH THINGS, OKAY?"
