In 2002 the Charlotte Hornets, an NBA team, left Charlotte North Carolina for New Orleans.
Just a few years before this happened the team had been #1 in attendance for over a decade, 3rd in total sales of gear and sometimes better cash flow than any other team.
...
When the NBA allowed the Hornets to leave it was the beginning of the end.
The NBA allowed the 3rd best money making team to leave the City that embraced them.
...
Proof of the lack of cash effecting the league is that 2 years after the Hornets left....enter the Bobcats.
Now in Charlotte the people voted to NOT build a new Arena, to use the old one...A new Arena was built anyway, with tax dollars.
It was reported by local news that "Larry Bird" would be a member of the ownership team. However it was Bob Johnson, the former owner of BET, that became the owner, and the city and news media knew it all along.
...
The NBA still wasn't going to let their cash cow just sit there. The name of the team was considered an insult by the people of Charlotte, being named after the owner, and the Hornets got their name back from New Orleans.
Guess what, it did not help.
Today the city has an Arena that's too small, too steep and 8 million a year in Security costs added to the Cost of the Arena.
No one goes to games, however if you read the by-line, you'll discover it may have been a sell out. Less than 4,000 people hit the turnstiles...Corporate Sponsors buy the unsold tickets to make it appear to be an active business model.
...
My point is this...
Bob Johnson stated that he would make a "Mecca" for Blacks, entertainment, sports, stores ect.
To his effort we must say he has done that in a way...the only problem being...blacks don't buy retail.
They aren't going to games and refuse to buy the gear.
This is the exact same path BLM and Antifa think is the correct one. They will discover what Charlotte has discovered, that no one will show up but Communist White people that have a connection to the group.
And media will refuse to report a damn thing but to support whoever pays them.
...
I predict the NBA to be bankrupt within a few years. If not sooner.
