Eve teasing has become a deadly disorder in today's society. Nowadays, women are being subjected to eve teasing in the streets, schools and colleges. Many girls become victims of Eve teasing and even stop going out of the house or commit suicide. Sometimes the government took a strict stand against eve teasing. But there is no social consensus in this regard.
Eve teasing is on the rise due to social and political instability, political patronage of terrorists, illiteracy, poor education, rising unemployment rate, arbitrary use of law and lack of proper enforcement. Eve teasers get involved in Eve teasing again because they have repeatedly committed crimes. Our social system is largely responsible for this.
The government has recently passed a law to remedy and prevent eve teasing, with provisions for imprisonment as well as fines. If this law is properly enforced, then hopefully, it will be possible to eradicate the disease from the society soon. In addition to enforcing the law, we need to address social, political and economic instability
