With the coming of Shelley mainnet Cardano is now termed as the HOT ALTCOIN .The count down for june 30 has already began as cardano latest upgrade to Shelley era is about to take place.Shelley mainnet will be one of the most highly anticipated event in the Cardano cumminity.Currently cardanao is in Baron era and its shelley initial stage is about to be launch within a matter of time. As a result of this a huge surge in price is taking place. By the time of writing this article cardano price is 0.08 with an increase of 3.4%.
CARDANO INTRODUCTION
Cardano is a groundbreaking proof-of-stake blockchain network, developed into a decentralized application (DApp). Cardano aims to achieve the scalability, interoperability, and sustainability needed for real-world applications. The Cardano roadmap is a summary of Cardano development , organized into five eras: Byron, Shelley, Goguen, Basho, and Voltair.Shelley is the second of the five eras for Cardano’s development.
CARDANO ROLL OUT PLAN
In december 2019 a testnet was launched just to test whether the proof of stake model works. Later it came out be a sucess and proved that the POS model was possible on cardano community.
Hence On 11th May a pioneer model was launched inviting people to the pioneer stat and it marked a significant milestone for Cardano (IOHK). There are currently 58 pioneer stake pools running on the Friends & Family testnet. This number is expected to grow as they continue to test the early network.
May 25th entered the second cohort.
Then June 9th will be the date of its opening to everyone who want to run the stake pool.
June 16th will be the date when they start putting thing together end- end.
June 23th will be the running date for hardfork combinator test with an idea to have something look like mainnet. And from that if everything work according to plan it will go from Biron to Shelley .
Then finally June 30th will be the shipping date for Shelley. Which means there is going to be a client where users have to download.
July 7th will be the late date for shipping Shelley if anything goes wrong.
After this user need to update on or before july 20th else will shut Biron era off and will not gonna work.
Then hardfork will happened on july 29th. Which mean after an epoc all the ITN reward earned will be available
Finally all the rewards will be restore on the wallet in August 3rd.
After this users can run the network and mark the beginning of decentration and hybrid phase.
PREPARING SHELLEY MAINNET
After the launching of Shelley mainnet people will withness a full decentralisation. Preparing for shelley is quite a technical method .So simply in order to prepare the Shelley Mainnet everyone needs to make sure that they have their cardano on their wallet eg.hardware wallet . As all the wallet will be updated when the Shelley Mainnet code is released. And from june 30 all the exchange are also going to have their software upgrade. This will give them an ample time to prepare for the hardfork. After this all the cardano being transacted will be a Shelley era cardano
