We Are Like God 

When my pastor was preaching about this topic, I was just observing and told him I don't think this is correct. He said categorically that it's the truth about life. We are like God in our own way and put our own perspective. 

God has some qualities which we also have. It means we have the same qualities as God just because he is the one who created us all. He made us understand the fact that we are like him. This statement is reality after critical research. We are his image which gives us the opportunity to be like him. 

God is our father and our creator. He is the only one who can make us great and awesome in life. We have our respective ways of being God. 

There is a question I was asked while doubting. The question goes like this… "what is the child of a goat"? I gave an answer and was wrong. The child of a goat is a goat, despite that it is going to be called another name. The father of a goat is the god of the goat just because it has some qualities to qualify the father of a goat to be a God. 

If you have children, it shows that you are God to them. You are truly God since you have given birth to kids. It means you are superior over your children and have some good qualities which are more than your kids. So, we are like God and we are God in our own ways.

In the Bible, it was said that he created us in his image. I kept on wondering, that if he truly created us in his image, it means we are like him. The difference is that he is our Creator and our superior. He has authority over us. This is also applicable to us here on earth. We have authority over our children and our younger ones which means we are God and have superior and authority over them. 

God is our provider and made us who we are today. He alone we take after, meaning we are his resemblance and image.

          It is written in the book Exodus 7:1 which says: And the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet. 

God has made us just like him and so we are. There are a lot of things God can do which we cannot do. Things like knowing reviving: God revives souls. Lazarus died and was revived from death. Human beings cannot do this act except God himself is in you and has given you the power to do so. He can only make it happen to us just because we believe in him and his words and are working according to his ways.

We pray to God but cannot pray to ourselves because God is the owner of what we are today. His ways are imagination. God is deep in the third heavens and here we are as commoners. We have choices to serve either him or other gods. The only true God is the true and living God. The mighty man in battle and the lion of the tribe of Judah.

So, we are like God but not like our true God. This is because no one can be compared to him.
