Love is not enough

Almost every Nigerian including myself sings this song Adekunle Gold's song ***"Love is not enough baby, come to me mo lowo"***. *****Mo lowo***** there means ***I'm rich.*** **Love is not enough** I believed Love is not enough in a relationship. Love is essential in every relationship, a relationship where there is no form of love between the couples won't last. In most cases whereby a lady is forced to marry a guy, most times such relationships don't last because there is no love between the two of them. For a relationship to last long, there must be love and understanding between the couple. For a relationship to be smooth without any fight, money must be involved. Love is not enough in relationships. As a husband, you can't claim you love your wife and fail to perform your basic duties in his home, like provision of food, clothing, and other necessities. You can't expect your wife to eat and cloth with love. **Money is not enough** He gave two examples; The first was the separation of Elon musk and his wife Grimes. Despite Elon musk's wealth, he still got semi-separated (semi-separated was what Elon musk said) with his wife after 3 years. Everyone knows Elon musk is currently the second richest man in the world, the CEO and Chief Engineer of SpaceX, and also CEO and product architect of Tesla. Would we say there was no money in the relationship? No! They didn't lack money in the relationship, yet, they got separated. Also, he mentioned the divorce of Bill and Melinda Gates. They divorced after 27 years of marriage. There was money, there was love, but not enough love 'he said' **Love is enough** Last Sunday in church, the young pastor that preached made mention of the song "love is not enough" and said. "Why did he say love is not enough?" He went it into the bible and proved to us Love is enough. He quoted "John: 3 vs 16 *"For God so love the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"* The love God gave us is enough. Money and Riches are just an additional gift of God. He said we do sing a song we don't know the true meaning. We usually sing; `He's enough for me, he's enough for me, the man of calvary is enough for me.` He said what made Jesus died on the cross of Calvary was his love for humans. So if we say the man of calvary is enough, then his love is enough. **Conclusion**: A relationship can only grow when there is love between the two parties. Money is something that is important but it is not greater than love in relationship. In order to go into a relationship Love must first be considered before any other things.
