It's no news that AEESSUI WEEK has been going on. Lot of people From faculty of Technology (non-Aeessuites) attended today due to the information they've heard about how the departmental week is making waves.
In the past three 3 days, there has been tremendous outpouring of knowledge by the eloquent speakers and the events have been nothing short of amazing.

What we had for today which is Day 4 is nothing close to the astonishing programs we have had so far.
Today, We were graced with the presence of Hon. Adeniji representing Deputy governor of Lagos state Dr. Kadiri Hamzat, an alumnus of the great department. He wasn't here due to his tight schedules, but the present of his representative means a lot to us.
The program started at the proposed time. We sang the National anthem and The University anthem as usual. Dr Omobowale gave the welcome address. The president of AEESSUI came out to give his speech also.
The first speaker- Makadan
The first speaker who is the best graduating student in the department in the year 2018/2019. He spoke of how things has been going on with him and how the course Agricultural and environmental engineering has helped him a lot. Makdan also spoke on how he personally developed himself as an undergraduate and what dividend it has brought on him and his relevance with the development.
Quiz competition
There was a quick quiz competition between the four levels present, which are the 100level, 200level, 300level and 500level. The 400level are absent because they are currently doing their IT.
So there were two representatives from each level. Twenty (20) questions, so each level has 4 questions to answer. Five (5) marks for each questions answers correctly.
At the end of the game 300level came out the winner, they got all their questions right.
1st 300level. 25 marks
2nd 100level. 20 marks
2nd 500level. 20 marks
3rd 200 level. 15 marks
Personality lecture- Hon. Adeniji representing Deputy governor of Lagos state.
He came and brought greetings from the Deputy governor of Lagos state Dr. Kadiri Hamzat, an alumnus of AEESSUI. He spoke about the importance of Agricultural engineers in the country and how they have been helping farmers do far. When he finished his speech, he said all the speeches were said by the Deputy governor of Lagos state, he just came to deliver the speech on his behalf. He further gave his own word of encouragement and he was applauded as he left the stage.
The Second speaker- Okeke Abuchi
Okeke Abuchi graduated from University of Ibadan in 16/17, he's now a software developer for Walmart.
He was not able to catch up with the seminar, so he had to give his speech on ZOOM. He spoke about Agricultural and Environmental Engineering and it's versatility.
Unveiling of the The Agrinnovator
Another great achievement in this year's week is this. AEESSUI unveiled its maiden magazine titled The Agrinnovator.
It was launched by Dr Aremu with the help of the representative of the Deputy governor of Lagos state, Hon. Adeniji who took a copy of the Magazine for a sum of 100,000 naira.
Presentation of gifts and awards
An award was presented to the Deputy governor of Lagos state, which was collected by his representative.
As a form of appreciation, Hon. Adeniji was also awarded for his presence.
