The Nigerian government has urged state governments and private school principals to be prepared to open schools in the country.
The Chief Planning Officer of the Presidential Commission on Combating Corona, Dr. Sani Aliyu, made the remarks while briefing the committee on the state of the disease in the country.
He said primary, secondary and university schools should be prepared as there was a possibility that they would open soon.
The Presidential Commission said the state governments should first assess and ensure that all schools at all levels comply with established standards of combating coronary heart disease and ensure that they provide a system on the ground, that can enable eye for school opening programs.
