Text: Leviticus 26:1-13, Deuteronomy 28: 1-14.

Obedience means doing as order by the right or a higher person or constitutional authority. It is to do as one is told. It means to be compliant. It means willing to comply, to be submissive, to follow guidelines, rules or law.

According to the passage, we must keep God's commandments and perform them. We must not turn aside from any of the words of God.

Obey God ( Deuteronomy 28:1)

Children, obey your parents (Eph 6:1-3)

Wives, obey your husbands (col 3:18)

Christians, obey your leaders in the church ( Hebrew 13:17)

Citizens, obey the government ( Romans 13:1-7).

Employee, servants, apprentices, students, obey your employers, masters, teachers.

3. Protection, security and peace

4. Victory over the enemies

5. God's presence

6. God's favour

7. Long life

8. Prosperity

9. Being head not tail

10. Peace and harmony in the family

11. Favour and success at work

12. Peace in the society

13. Living with God for ever to experience eternal joy and peace.
