Sometimes peace comes in the form of accepting that life isn't turning out the way you thought it would....By accepting this you aren't giving up on anything necessarily, but you ask yourself deeper questions. Is what's happening simply a life situation or is it my life? Most often the things that upset us are life situations. They are challenging and they are of relative importance but no situation is of utmost importance. Ask yourself if you need to do anything or is this something that's out of your control? If it requires action, take a step back and look at the life situation for what it really is. Because our thoughts tend to start up a hyperactive narrative and turn a very simple situation into a huge situation. When you step back for a moment, and you ask yourself if it needs action, then yes, you start using your mind to think again, but now your thinking starts from awareness. I hope you give it a try, it has changed my life and I believe it will change yours as well. #mindfulness #peaceful

in case you needed a reminder, because we all do sometimes: you're doing your best. you don't need to be perfect. you don't need to meet some unobtainable standard. you just need to be you. you're enough just as you are! ♡

@Aalia

INCOMPARABLY YOU You walk like no other, your smile is unique. There's feathers that fly in the air when you speak. Your voice is your song, a tone just for you. Your face, intrinsically etched with your truth. You are once to be seen, every freckle has time Each wrinkle and blemish, a place on this line. There's no one like you, you're one of a kind, Created for reason, there's no need to try. Who knows how many times you fell from the sky With fear in your heart and a mind full of whys, But now is your moment, you've chosen this time You're a star, don't wait for permission to shine.

Old things carry old energy. Broken things carry stuck energy. If you don’t love it or use it, it’s clutter. There is a reason we feel so great after cleaning. Our home is an extension of our energy, our aura. Letting go of physical clutter also declutters our mind and soul. It removes obstacles on our way, on the energetic level. It clears our path for the best scenarios to unfold smoothly. If you ever feel that you just can't make a decision about something, try clearing your space - your desk, your bedroom, your closet, your shed. Try re-organizing it and letting go of what you no longer need. It will help with decision making and it will feel great! By the way, old clutter can also be our old rules, or beliefs that we have for ourselves and others. Today is a great day to review those too. They might have served us in the past but they might no longer be useful. "Mental clutter is the energy we consume every day and the thoughts that take up space in our mind. It is the "noise" that keeps us from seeing the world through a clear lens." Do you have something like this? Let them go, re-start your mind and travel light. Have a super powerful Evening day! ❤ “Clutter is the physical manifestation of unmade decisions fueled by procrastination.” - Christina Scalise

“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” They who can no longer unlearn have lost the power to learn is so true, many years ago the word tenacity was used to describe me. I looked up the word in the dictionary when someone wrote: “Her greatest achievement in the field of education has been her ability (and tenacity) in seeing three daughters with different temperaments and skills, successfully through their school years.” It takes tenacity to go on with your life when everyone else is walking on a different path to you. It takes tenacity to continue walking on this lonely path alone, walk on an uncharted road without a road map, something that many will never attempt to do. Strong tenacious women are feared by weak man, and other women feel threatened and intimidated by the courage that many survivors find each day that keeps them going on. Over the years I’ve had people tell me that I am too strong-minded, too this, too that, too proud, I still don’t understand even at my age why being proud of what you yourself can do has become a dirty word. Many have actually said that I am stubborn because I was born in May, and my birth sign is Taurus. I was also born the year of the Rat, in 1948, so yes, I am stubborn and a survivor. A person who is regarded as stubborn is actually tenacious, courageous and brave when faced with hardships and misfortune, a person who is a survivor has overcome many obstacles, by being tenacious. When I first read this scripture I am glad to be who I am. "I will make you like a threshing-board, with spikes that are new and sharp. You will thresh mountains and destroy them; hills will crumble into dust. (Isaiah 41: 15) And you can call it stubbornness, but I like my own definition of stubbornness in my survival, it is the persistence of purpose in doing something despite the difficulty along the way. Persistence illustrates a person’s stubbornness, and single-mindedness, to the persistency of purpose. Do not let what you cannot do today interfere with what you can do tomorrow. It’s during our most difficult times and in our darkest moments as we journey on that we need to believe in tomorrow.

Stop looking for grand gestures to see if someone loves you. It’s in the little things, the “i’m always here for you” or the random “I miss you” messages. It’s when they check to see if you’ve made it home or how your day was. It’s how how he/she buys you your favorite snack, how he/she knows that you love a movie, how he/she remembers a story you told him/her eons ago. It’s not the infrequent but grand gestures that keeps love alive, but rather, the small everyday reminders that you’re grateful for someone’s presence in your life. ♡

@Aalia

Small Reminders Every day is a new day. What other people think of you is none of your business. If it's meant to be it'll be. Be your own source of happiness. You don't have to follow trends and do what everyone else is doing. How your life feels is more important than how it looks. Embrace your vulnerability. Don't let the world harden you into a person you are not. The first step is always the hardest. Stop rushing the process. You have survived 100% of your bad days. A year from now, you'll wish you had started today. You've got this.

How does being hopeful help us to overcome challenges in life? Being hopeful means that you see a possibility. When we see something being possible, we make our full efforts to achieve it. There are times in life when you face hopelessness. You feel as if nothing will ever work out and your dreams might not turn into a reality, but then is somewhere a tiny hope in your heart that makes you not give up. It is this little hope that makes you to continue and not give up. All you need to do is keep this flame of hope burning. Stay hopeful and never lose hope. Sometimes it may look like an end but keeping hope, you will be able to see another way. #hope #NeverGiveUp #flame #light #positivity

BECOMING A POEM I used to cry with hurt and pain, with loss, regret and fear, I used to sob and question why, just wish I wasn't here. Every day the tears fell just like a waterfall. I felt like being a victim was my one and only call. But now I know my truth of love, no longer feeling lack, I've tossed away each sorrow, no more weight upon my back. I see the light of day even when the moon is full. I can find joy in my stillness, I never feel the dull. Every day I contemplate the love I have around me, I stop to just appreciate the parts of love that found me, But still the tears flow when I think of life so brief And how the love around me will one day lead to grief. I let the whole of me feel life, from gratitude to grief; I let each feeling ride through me, hold strong to my belief, Then I look to now, feel all this love inside me And let my thoughts write words with heart and soul to guide me. This story had an ending, my peace lies in that knowing, So I write, because I know one day I'll simply be a poem.

@Aalia

one of the most priceless feelings in the world is knowing that there's someone who is truly proud of me even for the smallest of my achievements. knowing myself that i have been consistently failing and messing up recently, being told that someone's still proud of me means a lot. it's elating to see people behind me, believing in me and cheering for me even during defeats and downfalls. it keeps me going. it validates my efforts and reminds me that it is okay to fail at times because i got these people anyway.

@Aalia

What’s pulling you? Hopefully it is the right motivation that is pulling you out of your comfort zone to experience the best growth you will ever have. Because that is where we do almost all of our growing. Is when we are being stretched and pulled out of comfort and into something new. The amazing byproduct of this uncomfortableness is when we do allow our consciousness to be stretched like that, it can never go back to the original place or original size. For when the conscious grows so do we. Our perspective, our thoughts, our emotions, and even the actions we take. All some what different than before because of the new perspective we have on reality after this uncomfortable growth. It’s a good thing. To experience new ideas and information in the abundance surrounding us all the time. We have use our willingness and courage to push into new levels of existence. Don’t be afraid to be uncomfortable and grow. Be very afraid to stay comfortable and never grow. For life is all about the experience. Not the perception of safety and comfort. Be uncomfortable today. Grow like never before. Use you courage. Be willing. Live!!! #comfort #courage #willingness #growth #experience

Good morning. “Education forms the common mind. Just as the twig is bent, the tree’s inclined.” Alexander Pope. It is up to you to respect yourself enough to let go of toxic people and situations that no longer honour your own life-changing journey. It’s also up to you to never allow the fear of being alone to drive you back to unhealthy relationships.

@Aalia

Do we create better connections when we are our true selves? Being true self means we are who we are. We neither pretend nor try to change ourselves to fit in. Many people are afraid of being their true selves because they fear being judged or excluded. So, they give up being themselves and embrace a lifestyle to become part of a group. In doing so, they slowly lose their true identity, so they neither connect well with others or themselves. Be your real self. You will always be able to create stronger connections and turn them into long-lasting relationships. #trueself #Connections #relationships #beyourself

@Aalia

While living through struggles each day brings, take time to think of everything you survived and be grateful for strength you gained when you needed it the most. You overcame hardships that you never thought you could. Be thankful for surviving the worst. Things will only get better.

@Aalia

And all of us are prisoners of our own kind: prisoners of career, and aren't able to pursue their passion just to prioritize living; prisoners of other's expectations to them, and the pressure is slowly wearing them down; prisoners of the past, and an escape is still nowhere to be found; prisoners of sadness and lonesomeness; prisoners of many things and such. I hope all of us, someday, can be free from these cages—whether it is made by others, or only created by our own minds.

@Aalia

To anyone who has struggled so much this entire year, I hope the universe would be so kind enough to let you read this letter. I’m so sorry if you’ve been through so much pain from everything that happened to you, may it be because of finances, work/academic stress, anxiety, heartbreak, betrayal from people you trusted, sudden loss of motivation, death of a loved one, family problems, depression, physical illness, criticisms, or personal struggles. You have survived countless storms and instead of letting yourself drown in your own tears, you taught yourself how to fight despite you barely holding on. You remained genuine to other souls even though the world had been cruel to you. You deserve so much recognition for your strength and pure intentions. I hope that this year won’t stop you from achieving greater things in life because you deserve it, my love. You are not damaged goods just because this year wasn’t as good as you expected it to be. You became stronger, wiser, and more empowered. See you on your next journey, and may 2023 be kinder to you.

@Aalia

And kid, you’ve got to love yourself. You’ve got wake up at four in the morning, brew black coffee, and stare at the birds drowning in the darkness of the dawn. You’ve got to sit next to the man at the train station who’s reading your favorite book and start a conversation. You’ve got to come home after a bad day and burn your skin from a shower. Then you’ve got to wash all your sheets until they smell of lemon detergent you bought for four dollars at the local grocery store. You’ve got to stop taking everything so goddam personally. You are not the moon kissing the black sky. You’ve got to compliment someones crooked brows at an art fair and tell them that their eyes remind you of green swimming pools in mid July. You’ve got to stop letting yourself get upset about things that won’t matter in two years. Sleep in on Saturday mornings and wake yourself up early on Sunday. You’ve got to stop worrying about what you’re going to tell her when she finds out. You’ve got to stop over thinking why he stopped caring about you over six months ago. You’ve got to stop asking everyone for their opinions. Love yourself, kiddo. You’ve got to love yourself.

@Aalia

Move beyond success If you let success go to your head, you seriously compromise the possibility of future success. Acknowledge your success, thank others who do so, and then move on from it. Every success fades with time. Make the choice not to fade along with it. Your past successes are what you've done, but don't pretend that they define who you are. See yourself as a humble inhabitant of the present, eager to make a difference. Both success and failure provide valuable experience you can call upon again and again. Rather than becoming complacent and arrogant about the good you've done, focus the power of that experience in an active and beneficial direction. One of the best things about success is the increased opportunity it can provide. With gratitude and humility, set about to transform that opportunity into new value. Spend a few minutes celebrating the win, then get busy working on the next challenge. From every success, quietly begin to create another.

"It's okay.. You'll be okay. Maybe not now but one day you will. Don't be so hard on yourself. You're doing your best already. Maybe you're feeling so overwhelmed and exhausted. Maybe you feel like giving up everything all at once because you just had enough.. But you're stronger than this. I believe in you. I'm rooting for you."

How do we remain hopeful in difficult times? Difficult times are challenging periods because we feel as if they are going to last forever. Once we realise that our tough times will end, we can remain hopeful even in the most challenging time. When we go through a challenging situation, we try to deal with it, but when we don't see it ending or start to feel weak, we also lose hope. We need to remember that life goes through different phases, and every phase ends in its own time. Never lose hope, and never give up on life. Speak to your loved ones, seek support, and think of all situations you overcame; keep the faith and be patient. It will all end one day, and you will see a new sunrise. #challenge #newbeginnings #hopeful #wisdom

@Aalia

Nothing can take away what's meant for you. You're evolving. You're blooming. You will soon see your dreams coming true. All you have to do is keep believing and never give up on self. Things will align in most amazing ways. Great opportunities will reveal them. Miracles do happen!

What do we learn? Knowledge is a very powerful thing. The ability to learn makes us all powerful in some way. But to use this power is to understand it more. The whole experience of putting the power to work for us. Our true wisdom comes from the way we influence our power. What energy we decide to use with the knowledge. How we show up at any given moment to use this power of knowledge. That is true wisdom. Being proactive instead of being reactive. Writing our life instead of being a slave to our life through influence. When we truly understand the power by using it and gain our wisdom by the influence we enact upon the knowledge, this is where the real magic in life begins. To be able to learn and influence our decisions to be more productive and successful in life is how it feels like magic. Sometimes nearly impossible to explain but always knowing somewhere inside of you that you created this power. That you manifested this life. That you have more power than you ever realized. Be willing and courageous to learn. Gain the knowledge to be powerful. Use your power to influence to create the life you desire. Live the magic of life by realizing you are the power. Be proactive, not reactive. It has always been your choice. Choose wisely. #knowledge #power #influence #magic

“A mistake repeated more than once is a decision.” When people lie remember this, if they lie to you once that should be a warning, twice take it as a lesson learned and anything more is not a warning or a lesson its simply people being who they are taking advantage of others.

10 THINGS TIME HAS TAUGHT ME 1. Most of our life is spent chasing false goals and worshipping false ideals. The day you realise that is the day you really start to live. 2. You really, truly cannot please all of the people all of the time. Please yourself first and your loved ones second, everyone else is busy pleasing themselves anyway, trust me. 3. Fighting the ageing process is like trying to catch the wind. Go with it, enjoy it. Your body is changing, but it always has been. Don’t waste time trying to reverse that, instead change your mindset to see the beauty in the new. 4. Nobody is perfect and nobody is truly happy with their lot. When that sinks in you are free of comparison and free of judgement. It’s truly liberating. 5. No one really sees what you do right, everyone sees what you do wrong. When that becomes clear to you, you will start doing things for the right reason and you will start having so much more fun. 6. You will regret the years you spent berating your looks, the sooner you can make peace with the vessel your soul lives in, the better. Your body is amazing and important but it does not define you. 7. Your health is obviously important but stress, fear and worry are far more damaging than any delicious food or drink you may deny yourself. Happiness and peace are the best medicine. 8. Who will remember you and for what, become important factors as you age. Your love and your wisdom will live on far longer than any material thing you can pass down. Tell your stories, they can travel farther than you can imagine. 9. We are not here for long but if you are living against the wind it can feel like a life-sentence. Life should not feel like a chore, it should feel like an adventure.

@Aalia

Are you taking too long to begin? The first step is the beginning of achieving our dreams. When we take too long to begin, sometimes the situations change, and the opportunity we have at that time may not last. Everyone wants to achieve their dream but is reluctant to take the first step. They are either fearful or lack the courage and motivation to make the first move. If we keep postponing things, they become unimportant and, most of the time, never even happen. If you want something to happen, you need to make a timely move. Take the support of your family and friends, trust yourself and keep the faith. The first step may seem hard, but once you begin, it becomes better. #begin #start #dreams #achievement #success

@Aalia

Patience is strength. If you learn to endure and wait, it gives you the power to be resilient while you work hard to achieve your goals. Nothing is so sweeter than to reap the fruits of your labor because you were patient.

@Aalia

When we speak truthfully from our heart, we avoid unnecessary misunderstanding and drama. The thing is we don't need everyone to agree with us, as many won't. Neither do we need them to understand us. We're like pioneers on a new trail and there will always be those who will not understand any of what we're doing. Just listen to your inner voice and walk your own truth, it is the only one that will serve you, and avoid being swayed by the opinions of others even if they mean well.

@Aalia

Nowadays sometimes i thought of changing my ways. Changing the way i think, a change for myself that people will accept me because of the things i changed for them. But somehow I realize, For what reason i will change myself for them? What’s the purpose of changing myself for them? What will i gain? Until I realized that i was chained by myself. I locked up myself with the expectation of people will love me if i will change myself for them. Then finally i realized the thought of loving myself more and more, loving myself unconditionally —that finally i am awake with the reality that the only person who can love you is nothing but yourself. -It’s okay if people will unfollow you on social media, -It’s okay if they unfriended you. -it’s okay if they don’t like you for no reason. -it’s okay if they don’t want to be with you. I want you to know that you need to build walls for yourself to protect your inner peace. Build your own boundaries to people who don’t value you as who you are. You don’t have to explain anything to anyone nor try to prove something to people just for them to like you. Protect yourself from people who only see you as a material of their interest. Build a strong relationship to people who will help you find peace in your heart, be with people who will accept you as the way you are, the people who will carry you through ups and down. Treat them fairly, treat them as a family not just a companion, even if its short term relationship — but always remember, Yourself should be your top priority and always find worth. #Selfworth

What’s missing today? No matter where you look, you will always find so many dodging responsibility now days. And what makes it worse is there isn’t a no accountability for this lacking of responsibility. Essentially we have lost so much accountability and responsibility in this world that it isn’t a wonder that things seem to be worsening as time goes by. Think about that. What is you see every day? Someone always looking to blame someone else. Always looking for a way to blame others for the conditions they experience. Whether it is our own circle or on a national or global scale, always searching for a way to dodge one’s own responsibility. It has become almost like individuals are afraid to be responsible for the choices they have made in their own life. That the reason that they are suppressed or held back in life is always fault of others. When in reality, it is their choices. The choices of how they perceive experiences. The choices of their own thoughts, feelings, and the very actions they take. No, we cannot control anything. For control is illusion we have convinced ourselves we can obtain. So we keep chasing it. Always willing to blame, make excuses, and even deny our results until we capture that “control”. Circumstances are not controlled. But it is the accountability and responsibility of our own perceptions, thoughts, emotions, and actions that create the reality we live. We do have the most influence over those. We f on’t control them but can influence them. Discover accountability and responsibility to the fullest level and see how life changes. Stop blaming, excusing, and denying everything around you. See what influences you have. If you have some, use it. If you don’t, let it go. Be responsible. Be accountable. Use your influence. Make different choices for a different life. You do have that Power. Use it or lose it. #control #influence #responsibility #accountability #power

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is a quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow." - Mary Anne Radmacher “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” - Amelia Earhart “If you don’t risk anything, you risk even more.” - Erica Jong "It always seems impossible until it's done." - Nelson Mandela "The doors
