You don't need to be sorry or apologize for your political views. To be a repentant person, you need forgiveness from the society or authority for the wrongdoing in order to be reintegrated to the society. If you canvassed and voted for the current president of Nigeria as an average Nigerian who is tired of bad governance, not for the personal gain or contract and did not collect anything from any politician to do so and now you don't feel the good governance you voted for, don't feel bad about it.
