A selfish or corrupt Nigerian politician does not just become a selfish person immediately when he becomes a politician, you don't just become a bad person simply because you became a leader, it has been in existing in you, opportunity only just brings it out. Is a returning officer ( university professor) who helps politician to rig an election better than the so-called politicians? Is a public officer who requests for bribe before handing your file better than an average politician? Is the judge who manipulates verdict for money better than the politicians? Is the market woman who reduces her measures better than an average politician? Is the palm oil seller who mixed palm oil with red paint better than an average politician? There are two sets of thieves in Nigeria, those who have direct access to the treasure and the second category of people that is wishing to have the same opportunity.
