Legitimacy of Testnet
Testnet is an alternative blockchain to be used for testing. Testnet Coins are different from real coins and Testnet Coins have no monetary value. This allows app developers or testers to experiment without using valuable coins. But the saddest part is that nowadays Testnets are used for scams. Once you connect your wallet to Testnet projects, you have the option to make your assets available to third parties. 🙅♂️
Tenets are necessary and also important for both developers and their users. Any project that will be testing its projects should then attach a value to its testnet coin to get users and investors to take its projects more seriously.
Most projects provide their faucets for free and release their tokens to selected winners only after a certain round or rounds of the testing process.
Testnet is short for Test network a test environment for developers to test the integration of the network upgrade concept and more, it has no economic value.
It's always good to know the meaning of things beforehand before getting into discussions like this. It will help those who don't have a complete recap of what a test run is. Now generally, project testing rewards are not mandatory.
Pierce is mainly used for exam testing by developers, it's a way to educate yourself without using the real or mainnet, but cheaters can use it, especially for people who don't know about it.
After all, the testnet is not a bad idea, even if it is not worth it. Except those that will require some money to participate. 😜

I think a few months ago there was a project in this group hosted by AmA, PROJECT X, they recently did their first Testnet and I was able to participate. They have made it clear that they want to reward users and will hopefully be giving out their tokens to testers in Q3 2023😊.
