One of the ways to develop unending gratitude to God is to take note of and try as much as you can to remember your blessings. An interesting thing happened recently. I went to a friend's place and noticed a fitting in his house that was quite beautiful.
I really gave it no thought other than the fact that it was beautiful and maybe a quiet unspoken, almost unnoticeable desire to have something similar. Then a few days passed and without even thinking about, I saw something similar at my own place!
I was like "oh!" There I was having a desire for something I already had!
I couldn't help but realise that this is the way we often live our lives. We often complain not because we ain't blessed but because we forget how truly blessed we are. This happens because we are focused more on what we need or think we need rather than realising how much we already have!
So before you allow discouragement or anxiety, pause and think, look around and consider how blessed you truly are. Give thanks to God because at anytime point in time your blessings outweigh your needs.
Concentrate on counting your blessings and you’ll have little time to count anything else.
Count your blessings with gratitude no matter how small or big they are, and stop letting your lacks blindfold you from noticing how blessed that you are.
Indeed it is a true blessing nice post
