When you begin to come to the awareness of yourself, the question you need to start asking yourself is *Who am I?*
Giving an answer to such a question would begin to reveal to you the understanding of knowing yourself. Don't forget that Knowing yourself comes with an understanding of yourself.
When you begin to know Yourself, you will begin to comprehend (that is understand) the depth of who you are.
Knowledge and Understanding is the Key words. Knowledge reveals who you are while Understanding reveals your operations:how to live who you are.
Man is Spirit , he has body and soul. Get to know the three and understand how it applies to you. The Spirit part of the man is the most vital part of the man
How do I know myself from the Spirit? God is Spirit
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24 NKJV
For me to know myself, I need to know who God is. To know who God is, I need the Revelation of God's word.
Two things are Important now...
Fellowship with God
Studying of God's word
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.I John 4:8 NKJV
Let's get to know ourselves from the most important aspect of God which covers all aspect of life which is *love*.
God is love and he has revealed Himself to us through Love. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.John 3:16 NKJV
Let's know ourselves from this spiritual potent aspect of life which is *Love*. God manifested His love towards us by sending the most important person in His life to the earth.
The question is, how well have you known yourself from His love angle? God created you as a love being.
As a woman, you need to know and understand you are a love being and an embodiment of love. Being an embodiment of love covers all aspect of your life. This will create an awaken for you to love yourself and love others.
Ladies, you have the responsibility to begin to know yourself from the aspect of Love. As you love yourself, more understanding of yourself will begin to unfold.
-How do I love myself? Love God, treat yourself well, stay healthy, be neat, eat well etc
-Do loving myself reveal who I am? Loving yourself reveals who you are
You will begin to Know your attributes, uniqueness, talent through loving yourself. If you don't love yourself, no one will love you.it begins from you loving, cherishing,adoring yourself
But before you can do this to yourself you would have done it to God. As you keep loving yourself, no man can maltreat you if you really love your self.
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.I John 4:17 NKJV
My conclusion is, start knowing God, in it lies the knowledge of who you are.
