Joyful Journey Of Life

We are on journey to somewhere in life; Journey to heaven or journey to hell. Below are the accounts of two persons who engaged in the journey of life.

One day a young Christian lady was travelling with others, suddenly the bus they were in had an accident and she was the only person who passed away. She saw herself beside the road and there were two men (ANGELS) beside her. She was busy thanking God for saving her life, and then one of the Angels told her, “your journey on earth has ended,” she was bewildered. How? She responded. For the next five minutes she was just standing there, turning her way with a bewildered look on his face. One of the Angels said to her, let’s go: immediately she saw herself in heaven. There was a joyful noise, jubilation and celebration going on when she arrived. Everybody was glittering and joyful. She heard a loud voice “come, you blessed of My father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” Matthew 25:34

Differently, a young politician was feeling funny in his body and decided to do something about it.

It was a small headache that took him to the clinic. The doctor examined him and noted small symptoms of malaria. He decided to stay in the clinic over night to get himself strong so that he can do well in the political campaign coming up next week. But he saw his body still lying helplessly on the bed. He was shocked, he tried to call the nurses but none of the nurses heard his voice. He tried to pick up his phone to make call to his family members but he couldn’t pick it up. He started shouting but no one heard him. He tried to go out, immediately he penetrated the wall and was where he wanted to be. He came back and saw the doctor and the nurses examining his body on the bed. He heard them say “He is gone, we have lost him” They covered his body with cloth. Within five minutes, his family members came crying severely. He tried to talk to them but all to no avail. “he’s gone, he’s gone with severe cry all over the place. WHERE EXACTLY HAS HE GONE? There are two destinations- HELL OR HEAVEN. Where will you spend eternity? Hebrews 9:27 says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” Where exactly are you going? Are you prepared to go to heaven? Hear this, 

“I tell you, nay but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” Luke 13:3&5.

Prepare for the journey. “For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation” – 2 cor 6:2.
