We really should focus more on doing our best instead of always comparing the fruits of our efforts with others. Life is unfair, that's a well-known fact. You can give your best in everything and you will still encounter people who do not put in as much effort but is being rewarded far more than you. Does that invalidate your work? Does that mean that you shouldn't put in any effort after all? The answer to both questions is NO. Just because the world is unfair does not mean that you have to just quietly stay in the corner, complaining that there will always be someone who is born with a golden spoon in their mouth so it does not matter if you work hard. If you allow yourself to feel down everytime you see someone ahead of you who made it look so easy, you are slowly but surely ruining your own self-confidence. No matter what you do, there will always be people who will be ahead of you. You might think that what they do does not warrant the rewards it gets, but you are only a bystander to the success of one person. Don't let your own frustration be the reason why you blame others for their success. Feeling frustrated is okay. But blaming others for it and comparing yourself to others is unhealthy, and very much unneeded. Focus on your own progress. Don't look at someone else's trail and complain why it looked different than yours. We all have our own journey, trust in your ability to get to where you are needed without beating yourself down with endless comparisons with others you do not even know, much less how they got to where they are. #Lifewisdom
