Feeling cute. Might rip my whole skin off and eat it later. - Cookies and Cream, probably Leopard geckos are METAL. I'm not even exaggerating with that quote above. They rub along rough surfaces to loosen their old skin when it's time to shed, then chomp! Off the rest of it comes. I have a sneaking suspicion I'm going to miss it this time around. Cookies and Cream is so close to beginning the process that it wouldn't surprise me if he was finished by the time we got up in the morning; the way his back looks so white is a dead giveaway that it'll happen soon.

Do you keep a gecko? Seeing a gecko shed its skin is rare moment
We have two of them now. 🙂 This is the first time this one has shed with us, but the other sheds about every two weeks or so. It's fun to watch.
Haah, you have two? is it a male and female pair? I thought you would breed geckos, hahaha.
Two males, actually. My daughter wants to eventually breed them but that's probably several years down the road.
It just for pet? Why you choose gecko? I think another animals are cute hahaha
I technically didn't. The first one we got almost a year ago is my daughter's. The second one was being rehomed along with my second bearded dragon a week and a half ago, and they looked bad enough from the photos that I couldn't rescue just one of them.
