Today, May 1, Philippines celebrates Labor Day. Salute to our labor force - may we get what we rightfully deserve as hardworking tax payers of this country!
I wouldn't be surprised if minimum wage will be increased before this year ends considering national election will be held next year - a common political strategy.
Should Labor Day be also Mother's Day because our mother worked hard for us to be delivered? :)

Manny Pacquiao will fight Errol Spence Jr. on August 21. This will be a big challenge for Pacquiao since he's fighting after 25 months, at the age of 42 with height and reach disadvantage against current champ, Spence. Since Pacquiao is still an elected senator and considering national election is scheduled on May 2022, a loss will probably give him sympathy votes but a win will elevate his popularity more onto whatever national position he desires to run in to.
Finished watching "Army of the Dead" and their zombies are more intelligent than any other zombie-movie I've seen. :)
Our local government officials just finished their inspection in our plant. They timed their inspection around 11AM, perfect timing to have free lunch. Haha

Tokyo Olympics was supposed to be staged last year but due to COVID, it was rescheduled this year. Maybe they should have concentrated on less physical contact sports like lawn tennis, table tennis, etc. :) Or maybe in track field, athletes should take one lane apart to maintain physical distancing. Hehe :)

After a hot weather earlier, then comes the heavy rains. Hope power will not be interrupted.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which include face masks and face shields are the last line of defense in the absence of engineering and administrative controls or programs. During the early stages of COVID and currently, while there is lack of control/program from the government, we need to wear PPE.
