I thought I could do a lot today. Although I start early hardly anything is done. It's time to clean up. My phone, all those files, photos and apps and there is more. The list with communities I join is way too long. I reduced them to 30. It's enough if it comes to my interest and too much if it comes to reading all the articles added to it. The next communities are left on my list. There's a rare chance I will scroll the list of all communities to find some new ones of my interest. I noticed a part of those I joined are not active since over two months. If it's about being well connected, you have enough to entertain yourself. I have few communities that I joined. And I can't be in them the way I want to.
I write for a part in turn because it's my interest, others I read. It's enough for me. Just saw it's reduced to 26 instead of 30. 🤔
You are much more active than I can be. I got sick with my spine from sitting more time writing. Now I pay the consequences. I have two days without Internet and I cannot interact. How do I cover more things and everything is opposed? It's a tough fight but here I am again. I would like to write more and I am trying!
The difference is you use a computer and I a smartphone. What I use I can use while lying down. I have problems sitting and standing too and by now painful wrists and hands. Too much typing I guess.
Thank you for the list and for including CraftWorks in there too :) There are just too many communities here, some have duplicate themes too.
Yes, that is the main problem. There's too many and the more you join the longer your private list is. I noticed one of my articles was accidentally added to the wrong community. Good it was rejected. I didn't even know I joined that community. Following one that has no new entries since months is pointless to me too.
Yup. I submitted one article to the correct community but was rejected because the moderator thought it was a post for another one of her communities. And there I was thinking I submitted it wrongly. Ended up, I couldn't join back that community and had to choose another.
Mistakes easily happen. Indeed it's strange you can not submit again. As a moderator I skip or leave it till I know the answer. At times people change their mind, edit or... I wonder if you remove the community yourself, add another one, remove that one and go back to the first it is possible. In my notification list I see something strange behind certain names. Yours is one of them and it considers a new spam button. You see that too?
Yes strange indeed. The community which rejected my post was grayed out and I couldn't choose it again even though the moderator asked to resubmit. I would do the same too before I reject an article. Usually ask further for details. Hmm.. that is an idea to try if it happens the next time. Hope there is no need to do so. Now that you mentioned it, I went back to the notification and saw a flag icon with Spam next to it at the far right corner of a reply. The link is not as prominent as the last time. Ah maybe this is to answer the ones who kept accidentally moving a valid reply to spam? But that would mean spammers can still misuse the button too?
I just wrote about the spam button. It's not very helpful because you need to read before you click. Might be more helpful to those who hit the wrong button many times accidentally.
