Tell me what you brag about and I will tell you what you lack. This phrase is very popular in my native country, many times we have come across people who live bragging about so many things, what they have, what they achieve, what their children or loved ones earn, among other things. However, deep down they are empty beings, because when we have to brag about something to get attention it indicates that we are empty, that we are lacking attention, that all that we have achieved has been in vain. I know a friend who lives bragging about what her son has achieved, however the boy has money because he is in illicit business, that's the problem and the worst thing is that he ignores her and doesn't even call her to see if she is still alive or not.
