Colorful stones of lake Mcdonald
One of the most famous lakes with "colored pebbles" is Lake McDonald, which is located on the west side of the park. It is also the largest, longest, and deepest lake in the Glacier National Park.
Low water temperatures prevent the growth of plankton, so the water is crystal clear. The lake is located in Glacier National Park (USA) where there are more than 700 lakes. The color of the stones is determined by the presence or absence of iron, and it is widespread throughout Glacier Park.

Very nice colored pebbles. My wife like to use them to make some creative things. She would be delighted if she could find pebbles like these. I didn't hear for that lake so it was interesting for me to read about that.
