People make mistake, in life mistake are bound to happen, but we can choose to keep making mistake it’s a choice ; but no matter what, don’t ever choose the choice of breaking someone’s heart again ......All on the excuse of it was a mistake...
When you hurt someone , it’s like you being an apprentice new to the job of building and you carelessly didn’t calculate the reinforcements well and you brought down a storey building. Obviously casualties are definitely going to be within the frame of one storey and truth be told you shouldn’t be blamed that much because you aren’t fully experienced ...But If you hurt another person again ... it’s like you being a certified engineer and having 2 storey building to erect knowing fully well that the beam you want to use to carry the columns won’t last for long (You know you don’t love him/her but just want to catch cruise ) but because of greediness you felt they will renovate the house(You would free them before it’s gets deep ).... the house before the beam wears off ! And you used thinner beams instead of Thicker beams And Unfortunately the house was brought down due to heavy traffic on it from daily basis from resident living there! You will carry full responsibility and every soul lost their blood will be on your head because you should know better....
Same scenario applies you have hurt someone before you know how they felt when you left them and you saw it... it’s cruel of you to want to try so again ... so pls my dear don’t even think of it... it’s best you don’t commit when you know you not ready for it....

What Is The Colour Of Water?
WHAT IS THE COLOUR OF WATER?
Common people normally sneer at questions of this nature only because their answers emanate from common sense or the apparent reality which the eyes, through its receptors, habitually send to the brain for interpretation. This is such a frankly natural process in cognition that humans generally are bound to rely heavily on sensation to make sense of the universe. However, one might seize upon the conclusion that our sense organs are designed not to comprehend the universe but to aid our survival. If we then argue their usefulness, we can avoid the category error of believing that they aid us in reaching a definitive description of the universe. Why do humans have eyes? To see the world as it appears to them in physical terms. Why do we have two eyes? To help the brain coordinate our sight and place the objects we see within binocular vision. Does the cognitive interaction between the eyes and the brain produce an exact knowledge of the world we see?
To decode a cryptic message on a piece of paper with ultra violet rays is a self-evident means to prove that apparent reality—the tree, the blue sky, the moon etc-- is reality cut in half. We may also bring the same scientific mind to study water not in terms of its properties but in regard to its actual nature. That it would take many years before I eventually realised that water is not colourless is enough proof that I was as ignorant as anyone who dismisses this question on the spot or derives his answer from common sense.
WATER IS CLEAR BUT NOT WITHOUT ITS OWN COLOUR. IT IS CLEAR IN A GLASS CUP(SMALL QUANTITY), BLACK ON THE OCEAN AND BLUE FROM THE ORBIT.
Water is an interesting example of how colour is a product of reflection, refraction and absorbsion of light and Isaac Newton’s experiment proves that light is the source of colour subject to certain conditions. It is therefore important to note that light cannot be dispersed in water in small quantity. Another well-worn example of how limited we are by our sensation is the cloud viewed as fleecy white substance which it is not when properly studied. It is, as a matter of fact, a heavy concentration of raindrops. The sky is black but the atmosphere produces blue light more than any wavelength so that when white light from the sun reaches it we are only able to see a blue sky. Water is clear when light travels unhindered through it. (To experiment it, get a glass of water and allow light to pass through it).
However, the ocean as a vast body of water hinders light as it travels through it and before it reaches the bottom. And so, water is only able to reflect the blue scattering of the atmosphere so that we are intrigued by the blue ocean.
According to Zachary Ingham, our biological senses do not offer anything close to a complete description of the world: they are designed to help us survive and reproduce and not to comprehend the universe. Concordantly, I recognise the brain as the most important asset our species evolved to conquer his environment and comprehend the universe. After all, it was Sigmund Frued who said the true founder of civilisation was the first man to hurl an insult instead of a rock.

A Powerful Secret for Change
In my seminars we use “accelerated learning” techniques that
allow you to learn faster and remember more of what you
learn. The key is “involvement.” Our approach follows from
the old saying “What you hear, you forget; what you see, you
remember; what you do, you understand.”
So I’m going to ask that every time you reach the end of a
major principle in this book, you first put your hand on your
heart, then make a verbal “declaration,” then touch your head
with your index finger and make another verbal “declaration.”
What’s a declaration? It’s simply a positive statement that you
make emphatically, out loud.
Why are declarations such a valuable tool? Because everything
is made of one thing: energy. All energy travels in frequencies
and vibrations. Therefore, each declaration you make
carries its own vibrational frequency. When you state a
declaration aloud, its energy vibrates throughout the cells of
your body, and by touching your body at the same time, you
can feel its unique resonance. Declarations not only send a

specific message to the universe, they also send a powerful
message to your subconscious mind.
The difference between a declaration and an affirmation is
slight, but in my mind, powerful. The definition of an
affirmation is “a positive statement asserting that a goal you
wish to achieve is already happening.” The definition of a
declaration is “to state an official intention to undertake a
particular course of action or adopt a particular status.”
An affirmation states that a goal is already happening. I’m
not crazy about this because, often when we affirm something
that is not yet real, the little voice in our head usually responds
with “This isn’t true, this is BS.”
On the other hand, a declaration is not saying something is
true, it’s stating that we have an intention of doing or being
something. This is a position the little voice can buy, because
we’re not stating it’s true right now, but again, it’s an intention
for us in the future.
A declaration, by definition, is also *official.* It is a formal
statement of energy into the universe and throughout your
body.
Another word from the definition is important—*action.* You
must take all the actions necessary to make your intention a
reality.
I recommend that you state your declarations aloud each
morning and each evening. Doing your declarations while
looking into a mirror will accelerate the process even more.
Now I have to admit that when I first heard of all this, I
said, “No way. This declaration stuff is far too hokey for me.”
But because I was broke at the time, I decided, “What the
heck, it can’t hurt,” and started doing them. Now I’m rich, so
it shouldn’t come as a big surprise that I believe that
declarations really work.

We live in a world of duality: up and down, light and dark,
hot and cold, in and out, fast and slow, right and left. These
are but a few examples of the thousands of opposite poles. For
one pole to exist, the other pole must also exist. Is it possible
to have a right side without a left side? Not a chance.
Consequently, just as there are “outer” laws of money, there
must be “inner” laws. The outer laws include things like
business knowledge, money management, and investment
strategies. These are essential. But the inner game is just as
important. An analogy would be a carpenter and his tools.
Having top-of-the-line tools is imperative, but being the topnotch
carpenter who masterfully uses those tools is even more
critical.
I have a saying: “It’s not enough to be in the right place at
the right time. You have to be the right *person* in the right place
at the right time.”
So who are you? How do you think? What are your beliefs?

yourself ? How confident are you in yourself ? How well do
you relate to others? How much do you trust others?

Do you truly feel that you deserve wealth? What is your ability
to act in spite of fear, in spite of worry, in spite of inconvenience,
in spite of discomfort? Can you act when you’re not
in the mood?
The fact is that your character, your thinking, and your
beliefs are a critical part of what determines the level of your
success.
One of my favorite authors, Stuart Wilde, puts it this way:
“The key to success is to raise your own energy; when you do,
people will naturally be attracted to you. And when they show
up, bill ’em!”
**Why Is Your Money Blueprint Important?**
Have you heard of people who have “blown up” financially?
Have you noticed how some people have a lot of money and
then lose it, or have excellent opportunities start well but then
go sour on them? Now you know the real cause. On the
outside it looks like bad luck, a downturn in the economy, a
lousy partner, whatever. On the inside, however, it’s another
matter. That’s why, if you come into big money when you’re
not ready for it on the inside, the chances are your wealth will
be short-lived and you will lose it.
The vast majority of people simply do not have the internal
capacity to create and hold on to large amounts of money and
the increased challenges that go with more money and success. That, my friends, is the primary reason
they don’t have much money.
A perfect example is lottery winners. Research has shown
again and again that regardless of the size of their winnings,
most lottery winners eventually return to their original financial
state, the amount they can comfortably handle.
On the other hand, the opposite occurs for self-made millionaires.
Notice that when self-made millionaires lose their
money, they usually have it back within a relatively short time.
Donald Trump is a good example. Trump was worth billions,
lost everything, and then a couple of years later, got it all back
again and more.
Why does this phenomenon occur? Because even though
some self-made millionaires may lose their money, they never
lose the most important ingredient to their success: their
millionaire mind. Of course in “The Donald” ’s case, it’s his
“billionaire” mind. Do you realize Donald Trump could never
be *just* a millionaire? If Donald Trump had a net worth of only
1 million dollars, how do you think he’d feel about his
financial success? Most people would agree that he’d probably
feel broke, like a financial failure!
That’s because Donald Trump’s financial “thermostat” is
set for billions, not millions. Most people’s financial thermostats
are set for generating thousands, not millions of dollars;
some people’s financial thermostats are set for generating
hundreds, not even thousands; and some people’s financial
thermostats are set for below zero. They’re frickin’ freezing
and they don’t have a clue as to why!
The reality is that most people do not reach their full potential.
Most people are not successful. Research shows that 80
percent of individuals will never be financially free in the way they’d like to be, and 80 percent will never claim to be
truly happy.
The reason is simple. Most people are unconscious. They
are a little asleep at the wheel. They work and think on a superficial
level of life—based only on what they can see. They
live strictly in the visible world.

Spiritualism And Myopic Mindsets
On new year's eve, I decided to attend a church in my neighbourhood, for the cross over service. I arrived at the church at about 11 pm and upon entering the auditorium, an usher led me to one of the seats at the back of the church.
I had hardly settled into my seat when I heard someone shouting at the top of his voice
"Holy oil is still selling o, it's just #5,000 per bottle"
"The Lord has put it into the heart of our father in the lord to bless us with this, he brought it back from his holy journey to Jerusalem last year, and if you don't have it, then your 2020 will not be better than previous years"
"If you have been suffering from failure, stagnation, rejection and so on, then you better have this oil. It will make helpers locate you and your life will never remain the same"
The man went on to advertise different kinds of miracle products that night. From miracle handkerchiefs that supposedly cure bad dreams, to success pens for students, as well as holy water that cures all sorts of diseases. He went on and on, speaking about how many, who bought those items during the last cross over service have come back to testify.
And so the congregation thronged to the section of the crowd where the miracle items are displayed for sale. The clamour was out of this world, the congregation pushed, pulled and climbed over one another, just to partake of the gifts that daddy in the lord has brought back from the holy land. i wish you saw the melee that night, I couldn't help but ask myself a pressing question. Who has bewitched this generation?
At first, I thought it was a church thing, until I heard that similar sales, hinging on the same kind of promises occur in Islamic gatherings too.
I could not help but wonder how anointing oil will make our year better or how miracle pens will help us pass exams.
Don't misunderstand me, I am not against the use of consecrated materials, and this is by no means a critical writing on the conduct of religious leaders. Rather, it is a logical eye-opener that's supposed to raise you from your slumber.
Think about it, has anyone ever achieved success based on the sole fact that they use consecrated items? I have never seen it before. Neither have I seen anyone achieve greatness through prayers, fasting and worship alone.
“Again, you might think that this writer is definitely mad, that I seek to separate you from your God, or that I'm definitely a devil incarnate. Far from it, I only seek to make you more efficient in the new year.”
Paulo Freire in his book, Pedagogy of the oppressed, expressed himself as equal parts Jesus Christ and Karl Marx. He rejected a magical Christianity of divine intervention, which led to passivity on the part of the poor. The kind that shouts I receive in church without really receiving anything.
He didn't dispute the fact that God existed, or that he works in miraculous ways. What he saw and kicked against, was a perceived passivity amongst the poor. He saw a nation of people ready to pray their hearts out in religious centers, rather than work. He saw religious leaders feeding fat on the naivety of the hapless, and that's why he attacked the system.
Most religious leaders have failed us, the very institutions that should uphold us is bringing us down. They tell you that as long as you pay your tithes, offerings and worship God with all your heart, then, your miracle is on the way. They assure you that things will just change for you and that out of the blue, your helper will locate you.
I have seen young Nigerians who have no job, who have learnt no trade and who have not taken one step towards improving themselves, stay in church all day, praying in hard and waiting for their imaginary helper to show up and take them to the next level. The reality is, it is an illusion, there is no such miracle.
Beyond reasonable doubts, I am convinced that, miracles don't feed people. A man who simply chooses to spend all his days in church praying, rather than working will only condemn himself to a lifetime of penury. Miracles are real, and I do not seek to deny that. I have in fact seen many in my lifetime and my life today is testament to God's benevolence. But the fact is that. God does not extend miracles to people who do not deserve it.
God himself encourages us to work, it is clearly stated in the holy books of both the Christian and the Islamic faith. And anyone who refuses to work this year will see their new year prayer request go to waste again.
The youth of today, this supposedly ‘woke' generation, should know better than to repeat the mistakes made by the earlier generation.
They should realize that, religion without work is nothing. They should hustle, and then pray, noting that, the hustle should precede the prayers. They should remember that, their hustle combined with them believe in God, is the pathway to greatness and not the declaration of any Pastor or Imam. After all, it's God that answers prayers, without taking permission from any religious leader.
New year prayer requests mean nothing if you don't work hard to put them into reality. If you don't work hard at those dreams, you will always attend your religious gatherings, shouting "I receive", praying hard, fasting, but achieving nothing.
So, this year, stop waiting for miracles that are never going to happen. Wake up, dig in, do more and be the best you can be at whatever you do, because in reality, that's your best chance at success.
Journey To The Unknown

From Your Thorns
Thorns are unavoidably a part of our lives, they compete for space and dominance in our subconscious, thereby limiting our chances of success by choking that part of us that is determined and optimistic. Thus we find ourselves in situations to grab opportunities, but then we start rationalizing about what the society might think, or procrastinate or fear that something bad might happen later, or we just do nothing but sleep upon our own heels, thereby silencing the greatness in us and nullifying the whole essence of making resolutions to pursue productivity.
If we must see the bigger picture, we must be ready to take risk, to leave the zone of mediocrity, and be resolute enough to change. In fact, these thorns might have become so normal a part of our lives that we don't see them as such anymore, therefore we settle in complacency, we become comfortable about not taking the right action at that pertinent moment of decisiveness, we become too loose about everything and resolve to only play it safe at every turn.
However, seeing the bigger picture isn't enough, we must identity those thorns that oppose that picture and resolve to do away with them. We cannot grow if we sit with them, we cannot release the potential locked up inside of us if we just talk without actually acting, we have to move to a better soil to grow, we have to drop somethings and pick others, it's imperative that we learn and unlearn, that's why we're humans, we're smart, yes we actually have choices.
“When you have a single pattern of doing things that yields no good end result, yet you still keep at it _ that's a thorn.”
Or you pride in your potentials without acting on them, that's still a thorn and as such, harmful to the bigger and better you tomorrow.
Our resolution must go beyond just the dream we see, we must be able to identify where we err and correct them, that way, we harness our potentials and maximize the optimism in us.
We should get to the action of shifting our paradigm by planting ourselves on a more fertile and favorable ground; speak when its time, take risks when necessary, never leave what can be done today for tomorrow, never let your pride mar you from grabbing a good humble opportunity, learn to not always consider the crowd. These are the very opposite of our thorns and we must try to adopt them and make them dominate our consciousness, that way, we don't just dream, but we live our dreams.
To Be In Total Control Of My Life
When I gained admission into the Kwara state polytechnic to study architectural technology, I wasn't ecstatic because I never bargained for it; and I was still hoping to be chosen by Unilorin to study agriculture. The real deal is I never wanted to be a science student, but I had to because I wanted to stand out of my father's ten children because I wanted dad’s love, care and attention.
Eventually, I went for architectural technology because my dad insisted, I never liked the course, but I still wanted to make my dad happy and to my surprise I was able to cope so I thought it would work out, but it didn't because I wasn't happy and I had no passion for it. I cried every night, but the silent tears went unseen, I was depressed and was drained emotionally until those that knew the true definition of inner happiness encouraged me to follow my heart and not allow anybody make decisions for me anymore.
I started attending the tutorial center I attended when I sat for my first jamb as a science student in 2016 and yes, I was told not to be ashamed because I'm an OND holder but who cares?
That day, I cried when I got home because I had to see faces of my juniors from secondary school and one of the teachers indirectly used me as an example of those that gain admission but misuse the opportunity; he indirectly said I failed the course, hence, my decision to be an arts student
The taunt stopped when the final result came out and my CGPA was 3.02 out of 4 points. There and then, they got to know I didn't fail the course. Do you know why I didn't give up despite not having passion for the course? It was because I never wanted my excuse to be "I didn't do well because I didn't like the course". I carried on with my mission without shame, I started reading because I had WAEC, JAMB and POST-JAMB on my neck.
I faced some financial challenges and a point, I had to stop attending lesson just so I could work to get money for registration and lesson fee; my mum would have helped but she had my other 3 siblings to cater for; my dad knew nothing about this decision; and going to my family member(s) to beg for money meant my dream would never become a reality. Luckily, having collected my salary, some Samaritans helped me and I was able to keep a slot for my WAEC. I stopped working after a month and resumed to lesson fully because I was lagging behind.
Despite all odds, I cleared my WAEC in one sitting; with over 260 in jamb and over 70% in post-jamb; I became the first of my father's children to gain admission into a university. Just when I thought my situation was helpless, the biggest decision I have ever made, prevented my future from being shattered.
Now, I am happy with the course I'm currently studying because I didn't give up and I now know what it means to be happy on the inside. It's not about the happiness of those you try to please, it's your happiness too. I already gained my dad's love, care and attention just by securing admission into Unilorin, but I realized that it's not easy for parents to love their children equally and that’s just fine.
Resolutions: A glimpse into the future unknown
“As it goes thus; a future “unknown", so I ask, " is there really a need for resolutions or we just need to live life as the breath comes?" A lot of people have condemned & encouraged the "Resolution talk". I am here for neither of the two.”
What is Vevo saying? someone could ask.
Do nothing. Do not set resolution or goals. But if you must set a resolution, then make it this: Give up wanting anything to happen in the New Year. And if you have to set a goal, set a goal to set no goals. This is because every day is just the usual day.
Every day is just the usual day, the first day that ever emerge was day one, today is just another day. According to research, since the history of man, it is estimated that the days that have been lived is 109, 500, 000, 000 days, approximately. Funny enough, some people call the night that takes one to another day a " Cross over night" whereas every night you sleep is actually a cross over. Just as we sleep on Monday, we wake up on Tuesday, is the same as sleeping on the 31st of December & waking up on the first of January, it is just a day transition.
Can we start appreciating life as it comes and stay grateful to God and his will? Life is so precious, how much we take for granted and how we tend to put our energy into the wrong things: material gain, worrying and being negative over insignificant and trivial things.
I've always been in the cage of setting goals yearly, after the two months gone, I forget what I set. It was not because my goals weren't realistic or smart, it was because the year itself wasn't realistic. You don't set a target for something you can't hold or see. Resolutions can be limiting, after achieving those goals, we tend to relax and pause. Replace traditional new year resolutions with attainable targets to help you.
This annual ennui has only made one unproductive. Ask anybody about the resolutions they made last year, did they really actualize it? Then why don't we just live life as it comes by planning everyday & not every year.

What happens when that fountain is broken? what happens when it is not functioning as it is meant to? It then that signifies that its true purpose for its creation has been nullified.
This is how life itself is, what happens when you do not take control of your whole life, what happens when you are only seeing the chaos and not the opportunities, then you get broken and just like the broken fountain becomes useless as you do not get to maximize the full beauty of the fountain in you as well.
Fountain are a great sight to behold when they are in perfect conditions, so also can our lives be if we fully maximize the great opportunities that surround us.

I WILL GROW UP, someday
Beyond just waking up one day and seeing a strand of beard already propped up below your chin or noticing that the small lumps of flesh on your chest have suddenly grown to become round pulpy oranges, there are certain things that have and or that will come at you big time and leave you wondering if truly you agreed with your organs to grow up this fast.
The reality of attaining the adulthood status will hit you so slowly but fast! OVERWHELMING is the word that comes to mind as the array of uncertainties that lay ahead of you, dance to the melody of your mental guitar and drums playing tunes up in your head.
It is at this stage that you then begin to truly realize that you do not know who you truly are, what you want or how to go about even being the adult you always dreamt of being. It is at this point that you then begin to realize that all the dreams you ever had or all the eagerness to grow up that you ever nursed should have probably waited a little longer. At the moment, you feel the pressure, uncertainties, responsibilities, confusion, complexities, emotions all crashing down upon you and leaving you with all the weight to bear.
In this period, you feel your energy fluctuating and your belief twinkling. At this point, you don’t want to grow up so fast anymore. You begin to wonder if you can even go on or whether you can actually pull through. You either try to get past questions from seniors in the school of adulthood and try to create a pathway for yourself or you decide to “rough it” and do your thing yourself.
The phase of adulthood has several hurdles that surrounds it, several complexities that bind it and several athletes of confusion and frustration running around it. At this point, you’ll be hard on yourself, you will want to try, you might be weak, you will want to quit. Sometimes, you just want to go back in your infant or childhood shell and hide. Away from all of life and adulthoods problems.
At this stage, due to different problems, you start to find ways to either solve these problems or kill your pain. I know that at this point you can relate but are probably wondering how facing the reality of adulthood plays a part in resolution making.
The demanding and dynamic nature of the adulthood phase will definitely lead one to at one point or the other make resolutions and determinations to help achieve ultimate goals. After all, life is a process! And one has to deal with it so regardless of how much we dream to get young all over again. We still at least hold the firm belief that “I will grow up…SOMEDAY” to assure ourselves that it is a process and well get used to it.
Hopes and Dreams
Everyone has got goals and visions that they would love to bring to reality someday – Unknown.
As much as the above statement carries so great a price as per risk taking and making sacrifices, it is actually a necessity and a reality. Every living being has hoped for something better in life, a brighter future no matter how bright their present life is.
Therefore, to aid this, there is usually a picture that depicts the future that they want to have. They call it DREAMS. Quite fancy but it’s a lot more delicate yet in the same vein serious than that.
The dreams that an individual has are what motivate them to take every action they take (consciously or sub-consciously). These dreams are what make the new day’s challenge less irritating and bearable than the previous day’s. they are what prepare an individual for how the next day is going to look like.
However, it is good to note that even a perfectly designed and manufactured car needs something to fuel it. In this case, the individual welcomes Mr. HOPE.
Mr. Hope serves as fuel that empowers the vehicle of our dreams in a bid to make them a reality. Mr. Hope is what keeps the individual thinking “my current situation is not where I’d love to end up, there is so much more and so on”. That surge of excitement that gives the had to face so far to get to where they are in order to help those coming from behind not to fall into the same ditches they had to crawl out of several times over. individual the ‘I have got this under control’ vibe. Sadly, most times an individual forgets that there has got to be a perfect synergy between our dreams, hopes and actions. This process
begins with a strong resolution to achieve that bigger picture that the individual dreams of. So the dream isn’t enough, there has to be hope to keep that dream fueled and actions to bring them into reality. The individual has to understand that these actions are the resolution that must propel a paradigm shift and that they effect that shift in their everyday activity to build the dream being hoped for.
A Twist In Resolutions
For some folks, seeing is believing. But I’m part of the blind folks for whom believing means seeing.
“I’m the folktale of that blind man who wants to regain sight at all cost, I’m sorry the grey hair has misinformed you because I dare not say I cherish it one bit. I’ve heard my abled counterparts talk about the uncivility that comes with sight, the unrepentance on the part of men, their waywardness and nudity that would ‘re-blind’ an already blind man.”
It’s safe and comfortable here. Less attention from the world unwilling, fears of darkness conquered again and again, unlike the ones with sight, I do not fear falling as I have gotten acquainted with rising whenever I do. I have comfort at my fingertips, help comes as minor as lifting my legs to be placed on the table.
You think I’m restricted, well, I’m not.
You think I’m frustrated, maybe I am and that would only be from the fact that you can never see from my angle.
Dear reader, I see, in fact very clearly but there’s this ideology that comes with sight and for me it’s not about the daylight that gets recycled without sight full men making judicious use of it, it’s not about the freedom of movement that makes sight full men walk aimlessly to and fro life.
Instead, it’s about believing that there’s more to life beyond sight.
I have resolutions, which is to get better at managing whatever life throws at me. This eyes which I cannot see physically with, I’ll rather not cry with it because I actually do not want it in it physical sense.

A lot of people would think complete body part does the trick. Ask me and I’ll tell you how it doesn’t even measure up. I have full body parts but I am psychologically crippled even more than the disabled.
My aim as a man who is able isn’t to chase or reach the highest epitomes of the society. Rather, it is to better myself in a way that I’ll be psychologically able to think outside the box, engage in different things and endeavors that I won’t do on a normal day.
It’s not jealousy but it hurts to see my disabled counterparts doing things beyond norms. People would say God substituted their sight for the so much knowledge they have, their hearing ability was taken so they could smell so well even more than dogs, they are lame yet every air they breathe into words connotes wisdom from beyond.
Here I am with every bolts of my joints properly screwed, yet it takes so much sweat to produce an intellectual piece. I’m not jealous, I mentioned that earlier, I’m just frightened folks, I think I need help!
For someone like me, let it not baffle you that the kitten in me wants to grow into an intellectual tiger and not the one with a share of dominance in the jungle. Ah yes! It’s personal and that’s why it’s called RESOLUTION. To whom it may concern, my resolution as an able bodied man is to break out of the conditions that makes me A DISABLED MAN WITH ABLE BODY PARTS.

I’m the poor man with no source of income for the family, I can only afford luxury imaginations and not the life. I’m caught in between meeting up with societal standard in which no matter how hard I try; it hurts me to announce to you that it’s not forthcoming.

Some people say a man with wealth has power, fame, thousands of people at his command, some will go as far as even treating him as a demigod. I know because I am in this position myself.
Being in my position definitely has multitude of perks and advantages. I can get anyone to do anything at any time, all I need is the right amount of money. As expected I go through a lot of stress to keep up with my own life, making sure I don’t lose all my hard earned work in a single tap, putting all my energy and soul into my work.
If anyone was to guess what my resolution would be you’d say I need relieve from the stress I go through. In fact, that’s what everyone that’s not in my position would say but alas! my opinion differs!
People usually, anticipate that my resolution would be attributed to money and greedy ambitions. Some people say maybe focusing on money has made me loose contact with my family, and I probably need some time with them like “EVERY RICH MAN” …….
Well, my new year resolution is something I’ve been meaning to do, to reconnect with, in order to better myself. I’ve always felt like there is a hole in my heart where I need to fill up. I spent my youth working for money and struggling I forgot and ignored what youth is meant to be. I can’t say I’m living if all that is in my life is sweat and struggle.
The kitten in me doesn’t need to grow into a tiger ... in fact, it’s ironical. The kitten in me needs to reconnect with the spirit of youth inside me, and I’m sure whatever I grow into would then be MY definition of, “TIGER”, because the only way to be what you’re meant to be is not to grow into what people want but to grow into what you need to be.

First, it's pertinent to know that there is no limits to what you can
achieve in life and business.
What you intent to do, or what you are currently doing has been
done by many, and they have made it to success.

Break down your goal. Map it out, and see it accomplished.

There are many goals to set to win as an entrepreneur, setting daily

when not met. Don't forget to increase it as you grow.

One of my policies is, once I place a price tag on my products,you

African Street Child
**One day, I came to class and after my normal class activities, it was time for prep talk which I decided to enlighten my pupils about an African street child, the joy and the fun they had. I used my childhood as an example for them. How I played with sand, built cars using cartons and the likes.**
**However, there was one boy who didn't bulge in. Like always, he was cold with teary eyes just like someone who had something to say. At the end of the class, I told them to all go home, write an essay about their own childhood.**
**The submission day came like every other day and all my pupils trooped but the mysterious boy. I decided to go through their assignment when school activities were over and while going through, I saw the name of the mysterious boy on one of the submissions as he wasn’t in class then curiosity made me read his first.**
**A STREET CHILD**
**To be a street child would mean you have to live by the rules day-in day-out, if you can’t beat them, you join them. We fought daily, bloods were shed, people were stripped off their breath right in front of my eyes. It was hell in all its glory.**
**“I’m a street child, sometimes some days would smile at you and you could be passing by just to find a naira note on the road, with that, your day is made.”**
**I’m just lucky to have this education that has given me an upper hand among my peers. But really, we suffered the same, we lived in dirt that bedbugs were closer to our body than our cloth itself. In all its forms, we defined suffering.**
**I’m obviously still in my prime but life has taken me beyond so as I write this, I’m hopeful that God has seen how much of hell I’ve already been through and takes me to the opposite…...**
**I managed to get up from my seat and I bumped into the headmistress on my way out, her countenance told me all I needed to know and my mind wandered away. To every street child out there that thinks death is the only solace: there is still more to achieve, no matter your background, life has a better place for you and YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE A RESOLUTION TO GET THERE.**
Trees of Mentality
**At any point in time, find time to walk by a tree and observe. Do not think much, just observe. What you will probably witness is how the leaves on the tree fall and whither and how new leaves emerge from that same tree. A literal or maybe even scientific explanation could be perceived as the growth of a tree- after all, everything grows. A deeper meaning perhaps will spell out the word Resolution- backed by more than a dose of mentality.**
**But then again, there is a tree in the background. A tree that has got a mentality, a mentality to continue to grow and move forward, not afraid to let the doubts and disturbing factors whither along the line to accommodate better and refreshing leaves.**
**My friend as the group leader of a class project decided that in order for the project to have a lasting impact, he-along with members of his group would do things differently.**
**Sure, it was going to be largely insurmountable to raise funds, but at the same time, funds were really minute to the vision he created and the goal of the project.**
**My friend’s group was a really huge tree with diverse branches and leaves. As expected of a typical tree that we observed earlier, some leaves withered in the process of making preparations for the task and some grew, all down to one thing - mentality.**
**I believe we all have resolutions. We all want to try to be a different or better person than we were. Human beings are brands- we want to be better. We all want to move forward but that has different concepts attached to it.**
**The tree I observed told me that we all want to be better people than we are and probably shed some leaves at certain stages in our lives, but even that means an entirely different thing. On God’s Earth, we are not constrained by opportunities or resources. Manna will always fall from heaven; what counts is who gets to know it is falling.**
**So, because we tend to make resolutions, we become our own tree- planted by the river side of the opportunities we give to ourselves, growing and shedding, and driven by the most powerful of them all- mindset.**
**The way I have explained, the world is full of dark clouds of mentalities. The only question we can ask ourselves now is; will it rain? Again, do observe a tree!**

Lessons From The Gamblers
I don't think I would be wrong to call everyone reading this piece a gambler, you want to know why? Kindly read through to the end as you are going to make a discovery you are always not interested in finding.
I admires gamblers a lot, in fact, I bet sometimes with money– money I am not afraid to risk by the way. Have you entered a draw, you are a gamble too. Interestingly, Gamblers aren't afraid of losing something, they are just after winning. They don't care, each time gamblers visit a casino, when they lose a bet, they double the next, if they lose, they double it again until they win and that final win is always very Big.
I am not advertising Betting or making Gambling sound like a good deal, in fact I will advise you against it if you are prone to addiction but there are lessons to actually learn from this sect. They are never afraid of losing and truth be told, you're prone lose what you are afraid of letting go.
Imagine if everyone could chase success like a gambler, we all be big winners. Taking the risk to lose doesn't mean a disaster will happen, it just gives you an opportunity to do better. In our business, our career, academics or even our relationships, why are we scared of losing? What feeling are we not ready to let go?
Because you lost your self-esteem, self confidence doesn't end the world. Because someone who you thought was way below you doesn't respect because they are now better than you doesn't mean you have lost, sometimes we don't know the peace we have when we lose something. You lost a very nice family member, you can't replace tgem, but it doesn't end, find another one. It's our decision, we can't just wait there doing nothing. *Losing means you replace with something better.*
Sometimes, losing could bring happiness, showing the realities that we couldn't phantom. The space some of things we held on to; the mistakes, our past, target we missed, Vulnerabilities we should just be let go. Giving room for us to think through about our existence and give ourselves a purpose for living. Losing is great, you learn more from it than winning.
No wins today and study the strategy of the loser, but we will if we had lost. If you don't lose today, you can always trust to win tomorrow, every lawyer has lost a case, in fact, for us to have winners in life, people have to lose. The _"fear of missing out"_ shouldn't bring us down, we should just take risk and likewise take responsibility for it too.

All of Man's existence is tied to the one reason he came and so Finding Purpose is every man's search.
We have been taught that there are diverse means to finding Purpose which includes :
Asking God in Prayer
Dreams and Visions
Word of God (Bible)
Prophecy etc
As easy as this mediums sounds, many still find it difficult to know why they exist.
How do I know this??
I have often Receive messages from students who deeply desire to know Purpose and after giving them these mediums they still cannot get what they want.
Well this sometimes could be as a result of impatience.
This insatiable desire makes them want to forfeit the search and do something else.
But before you go, before you give up on your search, I have something to say
Purpose is one element that defines your life, it is the salt that makes your life sweet and memorable, so I wouldn't advice you give up just yet.
Here are Two other ways to Find Purpose:
1. Your Gifts/Talents/Potentials are pointers to what God has created you to do:
The Potential of an Apple Fruit is in its Seed, What makes an Apple an Apple is the Authenticity of the Seed,
In other words, the natural abilities you possess is a guide to what you have been created to become.
2. What you Hate is a sign to what God has designed you to fight against:
It is one thing to love something and another thing to know what you will solve with what you love.
Now see this;
I love to Teach/Speak/Coach
I hate to see people living outside God's Purpose for their life.
Now, I use what I love to Correct what I Hate.
My teaching abilities shows me that I am called to Teach, and my hatred for a purposeless Life shows me what to Teach on.
This gives me the Clarity of what God's Purpose for my life is and how to fulfil it.
This simple rule also applies to everybody.
