Here are two photos from my first ever roll of expired film. Surprisingly, there was more grain than expected. Maybe that is some effect of the age. Or possibly the film has always been like that. The sky is showing particularly high granularity. On the second the grain is even overwhelming the clouds. Still, I am really happy with the results. Earlier this year, when snow had just molten, I was walking past a small stream. It was too small to form rapids, but there was a widened area with some rocks to make the water hop around them. After a couple of lazy days, I visited the beautiful area by a crystal-clear lake not far from home. The water is so transparent that you see the small fish trying to find food, and the mussels standing upright in their typical but slightly weird vertical position. #Art #Digitalart

Today I have an alternative take on the same buttercups growing by a stream. Some of you might know what Meyer-Optik Görlitz lenses are famous for - the bubble bokeh. Back then, I didn't own a Trioplan, but I was carrying another creation of theirs, the Telemegor 180mm f/5.5. My unit is damaged, and the aperture doesn't close - but who would do that with this lens? To enhance the effect and to be able actually to focus close, I put an extension tube. The sun having just set, the sky was still showing the beautiful yellow and orange tones. There was a cool breeze blowing, and everything was feeling peaceful. I left work early and went for a long walk all the way to a lake I hadn't visited in months. I sat on the pier and let my bare feet enjoy the cool water. The water was clear and soon some small fish started appearing. They were so cute, nibbling the surface and occasionally jumping after insects and the water surface. Do you stop and reflect on the past month? Planning and learning from past experiences is important. I've never tried going over what I've been up to in the past four weeks, but I think it's worth it. Or should this approach be spiced up and make an overview in the middle of the month? Everything ends up scheduled for the 30th/31th (or 28th/29th). I guess with ADHD you can come up with all kinds of weird planning arrangements. 😄 #Artwork #Digitalart
