Improvisation
Have you ever tried to improvise instead of elaborate plans? For example, you need to attend a meeting. Do you prepare the text of the speech you will make at the meeting in advance, or do you leave everything to the moment of speaking at the meeting? Or do you plan in advance with all the details of how you will act and what you will talk about in an important appointment, or do you leave everything to the flow of those moments? I used to try to memorize almost certain sentence patterns what I was going to talk about at an important meeting. At the time of that meeting or appointment, I would try to say the sentences I memorized in order, if possible. After a while I realized that this didn't work, at least for me. Because during interviews or appointments, variables that I hadn't even thought of before were also emerging. Trying to rearrange the texts in my memory according to new variables and finding new things to say at the time required much more mental activity. In addition, the high stress that emerged dragged the business into an inextricable situation. Then I realized the concept called improvisation. Frankly, it was a little scary. Because it felt like closing my eyes and walking. Still, I decided to give it a try. The results were much better than the planned conversations. But I still felt that something was missing. I looked for something new to get better results. And I was tempted by the idea that talking with some symbols or signs rather than definite plans might be the kind of talk I wanted. We can call this the main theme. So how could I do this? Over time, I realized that feelings and emotions determine speech. I decided that if I had a great dinner date with a beautiful woman, it would be a great idea if I just felt the emotions, feelings, and thoughts that I wanted to share with her at that very moment. Instead of making the plans in detail, it would be much better to make the plans flexible with our conversations and sharing with that day, moment and that woman. For example, it might be a good idea to buy him flowers. But I thought it was a good idea for me to be open to other possibilities, whether for a meal, for a walk after a meal, or for a great view somewhere. It also created an openness that made it easier for me to notice the feelings, emotions, thoughts, and wishes of the woman we were dating, rather than just thinking about my own uncertain plans. In this way, I realized that I could really interact and communicate. It was like stepping out of my own mind and stepping into the flow of life. If this is a business meeting, I decided that creative solutions and ideas would emerge from the flow of the meeting, not forgetting only certain and important points during the meeting. The main theme was important. Keeping those feelings and emotions alive during the meeting, whatever kind of contribution I thought to make at the meeting, made me confident that I would make the speeches I needed. Thoughts create emotions and feelings, and feelings and emotions create thoughts. Another important point is to keep our mind open to new ideas and thoughts. For example, an important idea may come before or during a meeting or appointment. This article is completely improvised. I did not predetermine what I would write in the article, what ideas I would convey. It would be another contradiction to plan an article on improvisation anyway. :) All I know is this: What to speak, what to say, what to write, we can do it at the given time or situation. I don't think we need to plan this in advance. But of course if you can do it, do it. But doing it during the event may provide us with much better results. Of course, instead of trying this at a very important business meeting, we can try it in ordinary times of our lives and see the results. We can write poems with our longing for the one we love. But it can also be incredibly poetic to say what we feel at that moment by looking into the eyes of our loved one. Because the emotions that rise to the top that the moment offers us are the times when the real creativity in us emerges. For example, we do not prepare jokes in advance. The jokes pop up out of nowhere. Maybe there is a planned, orderly way of living life, as well as a humorous, loving, poetic, creative and fun way. Maybe we don't know what will come out. But it can be humorous or poetic, or we can pioneer something certain new. This will probably be determined by the main theme and our current feelings. Or the result may be even more wonderful than we expected.

If business or private is a subject that I have control over, I always prefer to be improvised. If it is a subject that I am not familiar with, it may be one of the little tricks I will use to obtain information on that subject and prepare myself beforehand. Anyway, in private life, I don't have much trouble because the subject will be me or the person in front of me, it can only be in business situations sometimes. In general, most of us prefer the natural one anyway, this is one of them. My preference is for improvisation.
For me, improvisation was a long process that covered every area of my life. Because my logic could not accept an unplanned organization. It was impossible, according to my logic, to get a good result without planning. But over time, I learned that it is irrational to make definite plans. Because life is fluid and this includes not only us, but also other people in our lives, those who directly or indirectly affect it, and countless variables that we are not aware of. At this point, we try not only to determine what we can say, but also to predict what the people we come across will say. But this is almost completely unclear. Moreover, even the change in the taste of a dish or coffee affects people's feelings and thoughts. Which our hypothetical plans often do not affect this situation. The emotional tension and stress we experience when our plan doesn't go the way we want makes the job even more difficult. The convenience that improvisation brings to my life is that it taught me not what I can do depending on the situation, but that I can find a solution according to the situation. What a person capable of writing poetry needs is inspiration and emotion. It is already present in that moment and situation. Pen and paper are of secondary importance. Maybe we will write the poem on the heart of our loved one with the words that come out of our mouths. I guess improvisation is about being able to act with the confidence that we already have everything we need.
Asıl mevzu dediğin gibi abi ne yazabilirim, ne üretebilirim ve ne sunabilirim. Bunların cevabı bulunduğunda bu şekilde güzel bir makale oluyor
Evet makale konusu bulmak biraz zorlayabilir.
The best improvisation is constant preparation to gain security and confidence. Sure, as you say, keeping an open mind, free of barriers helps to expand creativity, but never forget that you have to keep the core of your purpose in life. Letting your ideas and feelings flow is a powerful way to express yourself, but also dangerous if it does not have well-forged structures of who we are.
"The best improvisation is constant preparation to gain security and confidence.", I couldn't understand the connection between improvisation and preparation in your sentence. Improvisation has two meanings in the dictionary: 1)a way of saying it without any preparation, suddenly and as it was born into it. 2) speaking and playing inwardly, without relying on a text. (theatre) Improvisation is related to word and expression in terms of word meaning. With the two examples I gave, instead of meticulously planning what we will say at the appointment or meeting, I suggested that we keep our connection with the main theme (the main message we want to give) and make our speech according to the flow of communication. I wanted to tell you that expressing ourselves by fully interacting with the people we come into contact with works very well in my life. I don't think improvisation has anything to do with speaking preparation. But it's also not about living our impromptu life offhand. In your last sentence, I think you are talking about the danger of speaking your mind. Of course, it is important that our personality is settled and that we have clarity about who we are. But by concentrating on the emotion, feelings and the essence of the subject we want to convey in an impromptu speech, I meant that we can have a much more effective speech even with less effort when planning. I think you have an anxiety about expressing feelings and emotions. I think I can give you a better explanation if you expand on this subject a little more. On the contrary, I think that using the power of our emotions in our speech will make our speech stronger. If there is no pressure and stress during our conversation, I think we can better understand the people we communicate with. This way, we can communicate much more effectively and share our ideas much more effectively. At the same time, this gives us the opportunity to better understand what the other people are saying and what they want to say. Because instead of reciting by heart and constantly trying to remember what is in our memory, we are also sensitive to the words and feelings of the people in front of us. If there are still points that you think may be dangerous, I would appreciate it if you could explain in more detail. I'm always open to coherent thoughts that make sense. Of course, I will do my best to correct any missing or conceptual misunderstandings.
Hi, my friend, Thank you for such a careful comment. I appreciate it. In fact, It had me write an article with my perspective. https://read.cash/@Jnavedan/the-preparation-behind-improvisation-2067567e
I read your article. Congratulations. I don't want to prolong the matter any further. But I would like to clarify a few things. Of course, it is necessary to work for success. But since the subject of the article is improvisation, I wanted to write only about improvisation. The topic of this article is not success. Of course, I also wrote articles on success. I have written before about life purpose, success. In short, I would like to state that working without a goal and aimless, or expecting success without working, may not lead us to success. You should know that if you are expecting a specific success by calculating everything carefully, ignoring other people, their thoughts, feelings, and wills, this may lead to unpleasant consequences either for us, for other people, or for many people. The world doesn't need another Hitler. Of course, in many cases there are many possible options, solutions. But we experience and learn some things as we live. Our topic is not success. For now, I don't think of writing another article for success. Improvisation can be one of the necessary tools for success. Of course, this alone is not enough. In this article, I just wanted to talk about improvisation. The subject of success is a very broad subject, such as personal success, life success, success in relationships, successful parenting, etc. It is necessary to work hard, to improve ourselves, to believe in ourselves for success. But improvisation is necessary if we want to create something new and unprecedented, unique. Improvisation is part of creativity. Working can make us good musicians. However, being open to improvisation and creativity allows us to be a composer. Either way, though, there may be tools we need. And we still need to work on this. Maybe preparing is like taking the basic tools we need with us and working with them during the event or situation. Just like we need the piano when playing the piano. We can either play old songs or compose a new song. In a private meeting, I am talking about writing a poem for the woman I love, inspired by her eyes. Or I'm talking about new and improvised ideas that come up in our minds after listening to the words of everyone involved in an important business meeting. It is not possible for us to plan this idea before the meeting because it is something that is formed by the influence of the ideas and words of others. Because it is not possible to plan in advance the synergetic feelings, thoughts and ideas that occur during an event before it happens. It is not a bad idea to prepare without getting lost in the details and to take the things we need with us. Sometimes it's not even necessary. When writing poetry or composing songs, sometimes a pen and a piece of paper are enough for us. It is the taste of other people that adds value to a painting and determines its price. It's improvisation that makes the difference between making a new painting or making a copy of someone else's painting. It's improvisation that makes the difference between repeating the words of celebrities and generating our own ideas and thoughts. In both cases, work is necessary. Success is another matter.
Thank you, my friend. Agree with you. Greetings.
