In a hyperinflation situation something that costs 10 units of fiat currency becomes 10000 units of fiat currency in a couple of years. After a while the concept of currency becomes irrelevant and people start to see the value of stuff. Although it is a painful thing to happen, I don't mind a healthy dose of reality.
