A few YEARS? I can survive a few months, maybe a year, but like 99% of the human population in western countries, no income would eventually wipe me out. However, here in the provinces of the Philippines, folks would adjust, and just barter for what they need. Most of the folks in our purok do not have a steady income, or what would be considered a "job".
Just growing food eating off of the land is going to make things much simpler.
