Last week, we fly to Manchester in good faith to get a car that my husband saw advertised on Facebook Market. The car in the ad is perfect so my husband put a deposit as the dealer insist. We fly to London many times to get a car. This time we need a cheap but good car that is not hard on petrol. And you can buy a cheaper one in London, to be honest. We book a flight. Then on our way back were going to drive to Scotland then take the ferry. That's the plan. I ready everything for the kids and for the morning as we will be home roughly in the early morning. To cut the story short, it's not the car that was advertised. That car won't even make it to Scotland and it looks like a stolen car. It was a false advertisement. He promised to send back our deposit thru transfer but after so many follow-ups he blocked us. The dilemma was in that day was how are we going home. We don't have a car to drive to Scotland to take the ferry. I check flights and there's no more flight to Belfast that night. We have to stay in Manchester, book a hotel and fly the next day. Who will bring the kids to school? Oh, if only you knew how devastated we are at that time. That cost us a fortune for nothing. I was fuming for a week to that dealer. I left negative comments and reviews on his post. I was blocked after that. I'm raging I can't say any good words because we worked for our money to be just taken away just like that. We felt robbed. And yes we are. I always want peace in my head and heart. I keep cursing him in my mind. He did it intentionally for the £200 deposit. Like, why? But I guess that serves us a good lesson. And I move on. I forgive him for my own peace. Don't be the reason why people lose their trust.
