This is just sad. 😔 Going back home from the scrapyard I saw a rabbit at the side of the road and tell the husband to be careful. We passed by the rabbit but we decided to go back so the husband can move the rabbit down the field to make sure it will not get hit by a car. The rabbit was still there but I'm broken hearted when my husband said it got myxomatosis (myxoma virus). I don't know what is it but just looking at the rabbit makes you feel bad. Its eyes are closed, they turned blind. They lose weight because they can't see the food. They are like zombies. Just walking/hopping dead they don't know where they going. You know we have rabbits and I love Thumper. The rabbit hop back on the field. Cars coming behind us. We leave. When things like this they are put to sleep and so put their misery to an end as they can also spread the virus to other rabbits. My husband wants to put it down just to end its pain but I say no. No.

It's so sad. It will die eventually, the symptoms are severe(blindness,swollen eyes). Sad thing is that this virus was created.

    It is. There was a time the population of rabbits spiked in England, the virus was created to reduce their population and it quickly spread, leading to high mortality rates. A violation of Animal Rights.
