Heartbreaking 💔 I read an update about my former officemate that her Mom died. I send my deepest sympathy and condolences. But the story behind it is more heartbreaking: A month ago, her dad had a stroke and is now bedridden and feeding in a tube. They are all devastated and hopeless as the other siblings who are abroad cannot go home with the covid restriction. And only my dear officemate and her family with her Mom taking care of him. And just last Tuesday, her Mom had difficulty in breathing, took her to the hospital on Wednesday and suddenly died on Thursday from Covid. They know that their Dad will not be living for long because of his state but they didn't see her Mom passing away first. 💔
