Mrs Brownie woke up to another boring day. She looked around her deserted and old house, nothing seemed to have changed. She always wished to wake up with a smile. She always wished to have someone to care for, someone to cook for, someone to talk to but she had nobody. Everyone had deserted her saying she was bad, children were scared of her due to stories they heard about her. Because of this, Mrs Brownie's house was separated from the houses of other people.
Mrs Brownies husband had died of black magic and she had no child. Mrs Brownie had warned her husband never to go close to her magic portions but he never listened to her. One fateful day when Mrs Brownie had left to pick wildflowers, her husband had walked into her magic room to mix portions just like his wife did. He had always wanted to be a magician but his heart was full of evil which brought about his death. The moment her husband mixed the different wrong portions together something hit her and she knew what hit her. She dropped the flowers, running as fast as she could to get to the house just so she would stop him in time but on her arrival her husband had died. She couldn't help him, she wept because she loved him. He had always asked her to teach him magic but she refused due to the laws of magics she was abiding to.
When Mrs Brownie's portion was mishandled by her husband, the clouds turned dark and it rained heavily for two days. The people in the neighborhood were scared that they would die and moved far away from where Mrs Brownie lived. When everything became okay, it stopped raining, the clouds got back to normal and Mrs Brownie stepped outside. She went to seek help from neighbours but found none. The whole place was empty, she wept uncontrollably once again. She had to accept her fate. She took her husband's body and buried him in the forest. She had never used her magic to do evil except to those who seemed like a threat to her life. She used her magic to protect herself from harm but now everyone had deserted her saying she was a wicked witch.
Mrs Brownie got out of bed, she was getting older and in the three days time, she would be turning fifty but she had no successor. She thought about it and the more she did the more her heart bled. She was becoming too weak because she hadn't eaten for days. Grass had grown all over her house and it terrified people the more. Two days to her fiftieth birthday she couldn't watch herself die without a successor. She poured out some magic portions into a bowl, said some magic words and the whole room turned blue. She was about to drink the poisonous portion when a little voice called out her name.

"Hello Mrs Brownie" said Winnie
The portion dropped from Mrs Brownies hands and poured on the floor almost touching Winnie's skin but as smart as Winnie was, she dodged immediately and a little touched her long hair turning that part of her hair blue.
Who are you? asked Mrs Brownie who was surprised to see such a cute little girl in her house.
How did you get here?
You aren't supposed to be here!!
"Leave now! Else I kill you" Mrs Brownie shouted on the top of her voice without letting Winnie answer any of those questions.
Winnie was too brave and had watched this woman for quite a long time now and knew she couldn't do harm to anyone. I am Winnie and I'm here to stay with you! You're welcome Winnie said and pulled out a chair to sit on. Mrs Brownie just watched the little girl with awe. Would you just sit there staring at me the whole time? Let's get to work before it's late you are running out of time! Winnie said to Mrs Brownie. Yes we should Mrs Brownie responded back out of shock! First I am gonna teach you about magic spells Mrs Brownie started. I know that already I read your book of magics and guess what I understand.
Winnie took a few bottles containing different portions and mixed them all up together chanting spells to the awe of Mrs Brownie. These spells cleared the bushes around and once again Winnie grinned and told Mrs Brownie "you're welcome". The place looked neat in a blink of an eye. Winnie was just about sixteen years old. Mrs Brownie was beginning to experience joy and she wondered where this little girl came from.
Winnie had followed Mrs Brownie home on the day her husband died. Winnie had seen and heard all that happened but hid herself from Mrs Brownie. She was a little scared but on the day Mrs Brownie was about to commit suicide, Winnie decided to show up and tables were turned around. Winnie had read the whole book of magic line by line and she was so good at magic. When it was time for Mrs Brownie to finally die, Winnie wasn't happy at all and wanted Mrs Brownie to stay with her. She had a home now, she had someone to talk to now and she didn't want that to go away. She wept and all of a sudden she remembered a part in the book which said;
Make her live forever by breaking the blue atomic portion.
Winnie asked Mrs Brownie where she kept the blue atomic portion but Mrs Brownie was unable to speak and was running out of time. Winnie hurried to the magic room, she searched for the portion but couldn't find it, she looked everywhere but couldn't find it and she ran out to meet Mrs Brownie who was almost not breathing. Winnie cried, she lost hope, Magic is stupid! Winnie said sobbing. There was no blue atomic portion. She looked up for a while and there was a mirror in front of her which reflected Mrs Brownie's face. Winnie looked deep at Mrs Brownie and found a tiny bottle tied to Mrs Brownie's neck. She crept closer, untied the bottle and broke it. Just as she broke it, Mrs Brownie gave her last breath.
*Winnie cried, scattering all the things in the house. Stupid magic, stupid magic she yelled at the top of her voice*
The Shadow Monster
Footsteps could be heard in the dark Western Sahara forest. The most dangerous forest in the Sahara. She had stumbled on skulls quite a number of times, it terrified her to her bones. She cried as she ran even faster without looking back for a second. She was running out of gas and didn't have her inhaler with her. Her condition was that of asthma. Yes! Brittany was an asthmatic patient and running miles wasn't her thing. She had quietly watched him die slowly in cold blood as the monster who was after them had licked his blood and feasted on his flesh. Now it was after her. Who is this monster? And what is it doing in such beautiful wood like this one Brittany thought out loud while still running and looking for a place to hide. She saw the horrifying forest as woods because of her love for nature and flowers she had landed herself into this trouble.
Brittany and Thomas had attended a party at a friend's place who stayed 200 meters away from the forest. After much drinking and dancing, Brittany had asked her boyfriend Thomas to come with her for a walk down the street. Thomas, who couldn't say no to his beloved wishes accompanied her out. The two left the party and went for a walk down the road without telling anyone. The evening breeze blew on them making the evening more romantic for the lovebirds to get going even more. Brittany had sighted the forest just as they were six meters away and called Thomas attention to it. She ran towards the forest admiring the tall trees and blossoming flowers. Her love for nature was out of this world.
Thomas hugged her as he saw excitement in her eyes. He always wanted her to be happy. Brittany brought out her smartphone and took pictures of the trees while walking deeper and deeper. She kept seeing things that caught her attention. Thomas just followed behind like a shepherd protecting it's sheep. They both walked deep into the spooky forest without knowing what turn they took. They had lost their way and this time they had gone too deep. Brittany was still loving the adventure as she had in mind to share her photos with her friends and also on her blog chain of an amazing place she encountered.
Thomas spotted a lake afar and called Brittany's attention towards the lake. She loved it and wanted to have a swim with her lover ( Thomas ). She ran towards the lake, took off her clothes and dived into the lake signalling Thomas to Join her and trying to seduce him as well. He couldn't withhold himself from joining her in the water because at this time she looked extraordinarily beautiful. It was a bit dark and the moon gave it's light. The light of the moon shone brightly on her tender beautiful skin, her hair flown as the breeze blew making it dance. She had just a bikini on and at the same time she had made a cute puppy face signalling her boyfriend to join her in the water. He rushed in without further Ado and pulled her close to himself. Their lips jammed and this time they were kissing passionately when all of a sudden a dark shadow appeared in the water.
The lovers had lost consciousness of time and were too deep into pleasure. Thomas noticed the shadow and asked Brittany that they leave now but Brittany wanted to spend more time with him in the water. She loved the water and felt it was the best romantic scene she had ever had. She told him not to panic that the place was safe and again reached out to get a hold of his lips when the shadow appeared one more time and this time it had company.
Thomas was scared and quickly turned Brittany around so she could also see what he was seeing but the shadow disappeared. Brittany was beginning to feel her boyfriend wanted to play a silly prank on her just like he always did and asked him to stop if it was a joke. Just as she was about to turn back the shadows swooped past them causing a very cold breeze to blow on them resulting in goosebumps appearing on their skin.

Thomas gripped Brittany by the hand and they took off without waiting to put on their clothes. Brittany had just her bikini on and Thomas just his shorts. They both ran as fast as their legs could carry them. Brittany had let go of the grip and ran all by herself; it was now a man for himself. Thomas who ran ahead heard a thud behind and looked back.
Brittany had fallen to the ground and had cut herself badly fortunately he saw a herb close by and reached out to it, he squeezed the juice on her wounded leg and she wailed in pain, "it hurts" she said "it would help in killing the pain" Thomas replied. He had learned how to use herbs from his grandpa who was very good at making herbal medicine. Thomas helped her up to her feet and the chase continued. At this time the monster had lost sight of them but when Brittany wailed it trailed the voice and the chase began again. All of a sudden Brittany ran past Thomas, taking the lead.
Thomas was getting weak, he wasn't able to go further, his strength was exhausted, he fell and rose many times, he bruised his body and got scars all over. He had stumbled into trees and thorns pierced his skin. His legs were beginning to wobble as the shadow monster was close. At one swoop it hit him down and laughed out loud shaking the whole forest. Its laugh alone could cause an instant death. Brittany looked back and saw her beloved Thomas at the mercy of this heinous monster. She looked closely as she noticed it had seven heads which could turn one. Her legs shook and she hid under one of the small bushes.
The shadow monster as she called it divided the head of Thomas and ate up his brain; she only saw his brain being lifted as it would disappear into thin air. It was a shadow you know, she could only see how Thomas' body was being torn apart. She wanted to scream but definitely couldn't because she didn't want to die just yet. Her breathing got heavier as she tried to control it by holding her breath many times. Just then she sneezed, damn! The shadow turned around looking for the sneezer and finally it spoke! " Come out Brittany" I've been waiting for you" I haven't tasted female blood in a while now and I thirst for it even more. If you don't come out I'll find you and it will be the hard way".
Hot tears rolled down Brittany's cheeks, she was confused " how did it know my name? '' she asked rhetorically as she buried her face on her knee. The whole place went quiet for a minute and she lifted her face up to see if the shadow was still there but found no trace of it she decided to run out. She dashed out of her hideout because she knew if she remained there it definitely would fish her out. She ran and ran without looking back. As she continued running she saw a house in the forest with lights lit inside and hurriedly ran towards it.
When she got there, she knocked so hard on the door and it opened on its own. She dashed in and locked the door tightly. She felt a bit relieved and turned around to know who lived in this terrifying forest of all places. Just as she turned back she met an old woman who looked fiercely at her. She was dumbstruck and fear gripped her entire body. The old lady asked her to take the lead while she showed her where she would rest for a while. Just as she was about to say a word she noticed a shadow right in front of her as she hurriedly turned to look for the old woman, she was gone!
Brittany cursed and sighed she had been trapped by her enemy, "the house was a bait!" Damn! At this time Brittany was weak at least she had survived running that far even without her inhaler. She picked up a wood which had fire in it and tried fighting back, she struggled with the shadow chasing it with the fire and once again the shadow monster prevailed. It blew out the fire and revealed itself. Brittany closed her eyes to make her last wish. The sight of this monster was giving her a heartache as her heart raced rapidly.
The monster had a bloodlust look. Just at the verge of the monster piercing through her chest, she was woken up by her boyfriend who had watched her fight throughout. He kissed her sweaty face, she shook with fear, he held her tight and to cheer her he told her they would be attending a party at the "western Sahara".
*There the name came again and this time she was really terrified. Was it about to happen in real life or was it just a stupid nightmare?*

She ran off! To where? I just have no idea.
There's been no trace of Tracey. Where could she have gone? Edna thought out loud sobbing in the living room all by herself.
**Flashback**:
Tracey was all over little Sofie licking and jumping. Little Sofie was just about two years old and was so close to Tracey. She loved Tracey so much and couldn't stay a little while without her. Sofie had told her mom to take her to the park where she could have a little fun playing with Tracey. The duo were taken to the park and Sofie again requested to swim insisting that the weather was hot.
She had the opportunity to swim which she took Tracey along. In the pool little Sofie enjoyed watching Tracey swim so she reached out to Tracey and tried pulling her into the water even more. When Edna saw this, she knew it wasn't good for Tracey to spend much time in water. She had warned little Sofie about this act severally but little Sofie didn't adhere to her instructions. Edna grabbed Tracey out of the water with the help of the guard around though. Little Sofie started crying which got Edna a little pissed. She didn't want her beautiful daughter growing up not to listen to her instructions so she decided to punish little Sofie in a mild manner because little Sofie was still a child. She took little Sofie out of the water, dried her up and decided they would go home.
Little Sofie wanted to have more fun but Edna wanted to teach her daughter how to obey her commands so she taught taking her home and not letting her have what she wanted for a little while would make her remember to obey her mother's instructions next time. When they all arrived home little Sofie grabbed Tracey out of the car and went straight up to her room. When Edna was done preparing dinner she called little Sofie to come and eat but little Sofie was mad at her mom and refused to eat.
Edna scolded little Sofie while Tracey just watched. Tracey didn't understand what was going on at all and just hid somewhere by the chair. A minute later when Edna was done scolding little Sofie, she saw a little creepy creature by the wall of where Tracey hid. When she took a closer look it was a centipede. Gosh! She exclaimed and ran to the kitchen to get something to kill the centipede. Just whr she got out with a stick, Tracey got really paranoid and sped out of tht house to the awe of Edna and little Sofie.
Edna couldn't go ahead with the insect and just ran out to check on the fleeing Tracey but couldn't find a trace of her. Little Sofie was worried, she was also too small to understand. Why would her mom wanna hit Tracey? What was Tracey's crime? Little Sofie sobbed, just then her aunt Marie came in and took her away. Edna was confused. She was all alone now, she had to figure out how to let Tracey know that she never wanted to hit her but the centipede which almost hurt her. She slumped on the couch unable to think straight though.
**Few hours later!**
Edna stepped outside when she heard the doorbell. The police had come with Tracey. They could locate its owner from its neck collar. Edna was asked a few questions and she narrated the story to the police while running her hands on Tracey's fur. Tracey felt loved again and wagged her tail. The police handed over Tracey to it's rightful owner. With a pat on Tracey's head the police concluded that it was " nothing more than a paranoid fantasy"

Ellie!! Yelled Kathy from the kitchen. She had prepared Ellie's breakfast and packed her backpack for the summer camp Ellie was to embark on.
Ellie, a sixteen year old teen was the only child and daughter of Mr and Mrs Smith Johnson, the richest man in the countryside. She is an epitome of beauty but never saw herself as beautiful. She had a heart of gold though could be a lil cheeky at times when she thinks of who she is. Everyone loved to be around her, she had two rich friends like herself who also were to attend the summer camp. Back in Ellie's room she was on a call with her friends Vicky and Ella. "Umm girls! Hope you've packed all the necessary things you need for this camp cause we really need to crush this year's just like we did last year" said Vicky…
Vicky is a cocky and also an only child of her parents! She doesn't fancy mingling with the low class and loves to be noticed by everyone. She is pretty just like her two friends ( Ellie and Ella) she strives for popularity , competes a lot just to make sure she is known for her competitive spirit and yes!! She won herself the popularity she had always yearned for. Ella, also the only child of her single but rich mom Ms Diana. She is a cool, gorgeous and competitive girl. She loves hiking, reading Romcoms, dancing and modelling. Ella was taught by her mom to take and see everyone equally no matter the class or race of the individual. She had a beautiful heart. The three girls attended the biggest and most expensive school in the country, Wiss high School.
The school was known for its vast landscape, beautiful environment with trees and flowers decorated everywhere around the school premises. Any low classed student found schooling in wiss high must have gained entry through scholarship else that he or she can't afford to be there. It was summer and the school had planned a summer camp for the kids to enjoy during their holidays. When it was announced by the principal, all the students shouted for joy and couldn't wait for the faithful day to come. The venue for the summer camp was set in one of the country's biggest resorts. The kids were very excited on hearing the news, they had long waited for summer. The day for the kids to set out for their fun filled adventurous summer camp finally came.
"I got my mom to help me pack up all the necessary things I need for the camp so I think I'm ready as much as you are! Ellie replied vicky. How bout you Ella? I have packed up all I need. I think we're all ready. Whoo hoo!!! Shouted the three girls "it's gonna be fun". My mom's calling I gotta go now catch up with you later. Ellie dropped the call and headed straight out to the kitchen to meet her mom. "I'm here mom! You called" and Go and have your breakfast. You are getting too excited about this camp thing, at least just eat a little so you have enough strength to tour round the resort today, you know it has always been your dream land! Ellie gave her mom a wide smile and scooped some cereal into her mouth. Good morning Miss Ellie!! Greeted Nancy the housekeeper. Your school bus has arrived! Good morning Miss Nancy!! How are you doing today? Ellie asked politely I'm pretty fine!! Thank you, Nancy responded. Ellie was fond of her housekeeper, she loved her very much and always loved to keep conversations with her but that morning wasn't just the right time for conversations her bus had arrived and she was longing to meet her friends so she really had to go. Miss Nancy!! Please help me bring my luggage downstairs. I need to get my backpack and bid mom goodbye. I'm always at your service my lady!! Replied Miss Nancy.
Goodbye mom! Sobbed Ellie was too attached to her mother. I would miss you mom take care of yourself okay! Ellie! Pls stay out of trouble. I love you my darling daughter, "I love you too momma" replied Ellie You gotta go now your bus is waiting for you. Kathy hugged her beautiful daughter and waved her goodbye. Ellie greeted the rest of the students in the bus and sat between her best friends. Hey mummy's queen!! We needn't ask you what kept you so long because we know you were sobbing on your mom's shoulder, scoffed Vicky playfully and the girls all laughed . The girls talked a lot until the bus finally got to a halt. The students all highlighted from the bus one after the other, the resort was just as beautiful as they had heard about. The three best friends brought out their phones and took some cool pictures which they shared instantly on their FB and IG handle. They were super excited waiting to meet some cool friends during their stay in camp and were ready to go super crazy about the adventures. They were all asked to head to their rooms where they would be spending the night and unpack their luggages. The girls were assigned to different rooms which didn't go well with them. They had no option other than to live with the fact that they couldn't be roommates. At least they could still hang out and see each other whenever they wanted to.
**Day 1 (The quick tour)**
The young teenagers were all awakened by the sound of the loud bell. They all felt more sleepy cause most of them were on their phones calling home and chatting with their friends, telling them of how amazing the resort was. The children knew they were not at home for them to sleep more but had to realize that they were far from home and there for a purpose so they got out of bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up and get ready for the long day ahead of them. Ellie!! You ready?? Questioned Vicky, today is gonna be fun. It's our first day here and I can't wait to see what the guys look like here. I bet you would go head over heels on one of them barked Ella at Vicky . Jeez!! And I'm so looking forward to doing that Ella, you know I'm not you who doesn't know what it means to go head over heels Vicky retorted back at Ella. While Ella was about to hit Vicky with another word Ellie broke in. Hey girls girls! Calm down , we are here to catch all the fun. There is no time to argue with each other. No more bantering of words for now okay!!
Let's go out there and show the world we are here. Yeah let's go!! Ella and Vicky responded . They walked majestically out of the room looking so gorgeous in Jean shorts, white t-shirts and Sneakers to fit. Everyone turned to look at them, admiring their beauty and the girls felt really good about it. They had breakfast and the food tasted really good. The campers took a tour round the resort asking their tour guide many questions. Ella had a book in her hand where she was writing down almost everything. Ellie was taking pictures of cool sites while Vicky was feeling pretty and walking like the leader of the group, taking the forefront of everything. When the young campers had retired for the day they were all tired and their legs wobbling a bit. They freshened up, had dinner and retired to bed. While on a tour, Vicky was admiring one of the students from another school who had come for the summer camp as well. Blake was every girl's dream guy on camp and also a rich kid. He was the reason for her cheeky behavior. Blake on the other hand had his eyes on Ellie. He loved her personality and appearance, he thought in his heart to make friends with her as soon as possible but just didn't know how to go about it. Beautiful Ellie didn't know anything about it. She was too focused on her camera though she once caught Blake staring at her but waved it off thinking it was just a stare.

Day 2 (The Bonding)
The kids had a week to spend in camp and wished it could be extended to two. Ellie!! Wakey wakey sleepy head!! Said Vicky. Good morning ma'am greeted Ella. You guys are terrible at waking someone up jeez! Let go of my leg please. Don't tell me you need someone to wake you up like a princess and give you a kiss on the head like your mom does? Questioned Vicky with a smirk. Hahaha! Ella laughed don't worry I got the right person for the job! Guess who? Blake!!!! The cutest guy on camp! I saw the way he was staring at you yesterday and couldn't get his eyes off you. I know you guys will bond up soon. Who told you that Ella? Didn't you see that it was me Blake was staring at? Vicky barked at Ella, now listen and take this seriously I'm already his and nothing is changing that! Ellie dear pls get out of bed and go freshen up for today we got another adventure to embark on don't listen to Ella she just wants to ruin things for me. Ruin you say?? I know very well he was staring at Ellie not your cheeky self. Hey hey!! I'm not interested in Blake at all! Remember I got a James already so I'm good, you can have him Vicky! I'm not interested please. Ella had a Stern look on her face for Vicky. She didn't buy the story Vicky gave because she saw the whole staring game and how it started. She also knew that Vicky was having her eyes on Blake but decided not to blurt that out. After they had had breakfast they rested for a while. It was time for their games and the girls were split into teams. Ellie and Ella were in team Sapphire, the same team as Blake, while Vicky was in team Ruby, the team where Blake's friend Rob was…
This didn't go well with Vicky cause she really wanted to be in the same team with Blake so she could have her way. She complained about it but it was of no use because she can't be swapped now that they were set. The team members were all asked to get familiar with each other so they could work together and win. They were also asked to choose a team leader which should be a boy and a girl. This went well with Ella because she really wanted her friend Ellie to be the team leader and she had the conviction that definitely Blake would be chosen as the male team leader. Just as expected Ellie was chosen to work with Blake as team leaders, the duo looked good together and the rest of the kids admired them so much. A little girl walked up to the both of them and told them that they would make a good couple. Blake fancied the idea but Ellie didn't because she didn't wanna hurt her friend Vicky who was going head over heels already for this guy. Vicky was also chosen as the team leader for her team; she had to work with Rob. The fact of Ellie and Blake bonding didn't go well with Vicky. She started having funny thoughts in her head, she didn't want anyone to get in her way of having Blake, so she thought to herself to act fast and wisely.
"I wouldn't let anyone not even my best friends to deny me of this opportunity!! Never". Her face had gone all red when Rob walked up to her. Hello I'm Rob! It's gonna be nice working with you to build our team strong. Vicky was lost in her wild thoughts that Rob had to nudge her a little. Hey you okay? Umm yeah yeah I'm fine replied Vicky with a fake smile. Ok I'm Rob" you are? I'm Vicky, can I ask you a question? Sure you can said Rob . Is Blake your friend? Rob smiled a little and gave her a straight yes. Vicky smiled and decided to get the fish using a nice bait. Little did she know that her plans were going to probe abortive since Blake was also set to get Ellie he wasn't sure of what he was feeling but he knew something had hit him. He knew he was falling for her already. He had discussed the weird feeling with Rob the previous night and also knew that Vicky had her eyes for him. Rob gave Vicky a smile and told her that they had to go prepare their team members for the swimming race and teach them all the basic skills they needed to know about swimming. She got up and followed him, feeling like a smart biologist who had just won an experimental contest…
Blake and Ellie on the other hand were getting along real quick but Ellie was anxious about everything going on so she kept a bit of a distance from Blake so as not to annoy her friend. She loved her friends so much and wanted the friendship to last forever without having issues with any one of them. They all headed to the lake where they would be having their swimming competition and decided to take lessons there. The kids all changed to their swimsuits. When Ellie emerged with her swimsuit on! Blake couldn't get his eyes off her, he admired the wonderful creature he had as a team mate. Vicky wasn't concentrating as though she was busy snooping on every move of the Sapphire team leaders. She didn't want anything funny to happen between them else she could just loose her mind. She had started having hatred for her friend Ellie, why should it be her, must it always be her why can't it be me? Am I not as pretty as she is or even more prettier? Those were the questions that ran through Vicky's mind.
Vicky please can you concentrate here and help the smaller kids with get into the waters with their floaters, Rob said sternly looking straight into Vicky's eyes. Vicky was hurt inside and just decided to concentrate just for the sake of the competition, so her team would win and then she would now have a way of getting the attention of Blake. Ellie and Blake were doing just fine, Ella was enjoying the whole scene and loving it that her very best friend was looking happy and getting along. The both teams put in their best, they were able to pick out the best swimmers for the competition ahead of them. When they finally got all the kids out of the lake the leaders emerged last, it was their duty to ensure the safety of their team members. Blake noticed that Ellie had caught a cold so he got his Jacket and put it on her while she was sitting close to the bushes. This kind gesture of Blake towards Ellie was eating up Vicky, she wanted to be in that position that Ellie was, she needed those treatments and above all she needed Blake. She left the place where they were all gathered and went to stay all by herself a bit close to the area of the lake indicated: "DO NOT ENTER"
This struck her and made her think more darker. Now thinking evil she wanted to take revenge on Ellie. She said she had James. Why is she now all over Blake? She thought out loud. A tear dropped on her cheeks, she wiped them off immediately she saw Rob drawing near. Hey vick I've been searching for you, what are you doing here?? This place is really dangerous and not good for you if you eventually fall into this part of the lake you will drown and there is no life guard around this afternoon to save you . This part of the lake is the deepest part. I once heard that it almost drowned a full grown man if not for a lifeguard who was around by that time of the night, the man could have died in here. Really?? Vicky asked, I never knew it was that dangerous. Please miss can we leave this axis, Rob said with a playful smile and held Vicky's hand to pull her up.
She was on her feet and the Ruby leaders walked away talking about how to practice more for the upcoming swimming competition.

**Day 3 (Memories and Suspicions)**
The campers were all about doing their normal morning routine when Blake and Rob walked up to the three best friends that were doing their work out. Hey girls!! How are you doing today said Blake and stretched his hand for a handshake. Vicky immediately held his hands tight. We are fine you know, how are you doing too. Good morning Rob greeted Ella and Ellie Good morning Rob greeted back. I see you girls are taking this work out very seriously Blake said trying to get his hand off Vicky's grip. Yeah we love working out, you know it's always fun doing it together. Ellie said and smiled. Umm Ellie !! Thanks for yesterday, I really appreciate your efforts, I'm grateful and honored to have a friend like you. "Flash back" Blake was spotted sitting alone looking so deep in thoughts when Ellie walked up to him, sat beside him and asked him what was wrong and why his mood changed all of a sudden. Blake looked at her with a shaky voice and told her the story of how he lost his mom on his birthday, he lost the most important woman in his life at the age of ten. He also told her that the image of how she left him keeps flashing in his head and makes him weak whenever it comes. Ellie felt for him, hugged him and told him that one day he would meet her again.
"For now you have to enjoy the fullness of life and live it to the full plus you got me!" Ellie said and smiled making a funny face at him, this childish act of hers made his heart leap for joy and once again he gained his happiness. What must have happened between the both of them yesterday? Vicky muttered to herself. I hope they haven't started seeing each other at late nights already cause that would be calling for war. She had said that out loud this time without realizing it. Who is calling for war Vicky? Asked Ella with a Stern look. Umm no one, did I say something like that? No no I'm just hallucinating it's my thing you know Vicky said trying to cover up. Alright girls catch up with you later. The boys left and Vicky was at it again. Ellie, were you out with Blake last night or something? No I wasn't. Oh cut the crap!! Then how come he came to appreciate you? Is there anything you aren't telling us? Us you say Vicky! There is no us but just A you, what's wrong even if Ellie was out with Blake at night I see nothing wrong with that I'm totally in support if she even wanna spend the night with him, it would be the coolest thing I've ever. So miss when you're asking your selfish question do not use the word us because I am cool with Ellie and Blake hanging out. Ella said angrily and immediately Vicky slapped her and they began fighting.
The two fighters were punished by the school authority by not letting them participate in any game for the day. Ellie was heartbroken; she couldn't think straight. Why is Vicky being so rude now, is it just because of Blake? Ellie sobbed a little but Ella came and comforted her telling her sweet things which made her feel better. She was now up and ready for any battle Vicky would create.
**Day four (The dream)**
Back at Ellie's house , Ellie's mom had a dream the previous night where her daughter's life was endangered but the dream wasn't clear enough so she decided to call the authorities in charge of the students at camp. Good day Ms Smith, how are you doing today? Asked one of the staff in charge. I'm doing great but please I want to know if my daughter Ellie is doing well. Oh yes ma'am, Ellie is fine and very active. She is the team leader for her competing team and is very busy today teaching her team members the necessary steps to winning. Oh ok that's great, please keep an eye on her for me I don't want her to get into any form of danger at all please. It's our responsibility to protect our students ma'am, replied the staff. Ellie's mom was relieved and dropped the call. The kids were all enthusiastic about this competition so they all put in their best skills so they could win. They had it in mind that whether their team won or lost they were all winners and were just having fun. They practiced harder that day, played and splashed water everywhere. The two teams were getting along though and everyone wanted to win. Ella had been watching every movement of Vicky. She knew that Vicky had bad intentions and didn't wanna give her the chance to carry it out.
**Day five( The Swimming competition )**
The day the children had been training for finally came. They woke up early, moving in twos and threes talking about their expectations and more. It was finally time for the competition to begin. The lake had been set ready for the swimmers and the kids were super excited. The team leaders had arrived and were checking on all their members just to be sure. The competition began with the smallest children to the older ones and both teams had a draw. Finally it was time for the leaders to compete. Ellie would compete against Vicky while Blake against Rob. This was gonna be a tough one. You can do this Blake said with assurance to Ellie and gave her a kiss on her cheeks. Vicky saw this and got really mad about it. Ella smiled widely and Ellie's eyes just popped widely opened. You go now you would get another one when you make me proud Blake told Ellie with a smile on his face and Ellie smiled back. Vicky was burning on the inside with more hatred for her used to be best friend. The sound of the whistle Indicated them to go and splashed, the two dived in swimming to reach the finish line and three, two, one Ellie hit the ribbon first and won. Everyone jumped for joy, especially the members of team Sapphire. She did it! Blake shouted and Ella ran to hug him. "I love you Ellie" Blake shouted out loud again.
Vicky was stuck, she couldn't stop hearing those words that came out of Blake's mouth ring in her head. She practically failed because she wasn't concentrating. They both got out of the water and had their towels wrapped around them. Congrats Ellie I'm proud of you, Vicky told Ellie with a wicked smile on her face but Ellie was too happy to notice that, she just hugged Vicky and told her I know you just wanted me to win because of how much you love me I know how good you are at swimming you've practically beat me so many times but today you just let me win. Thanks a lot dear.
I just let you win you think? I'm coming up with the best plan to ruin you so you know Vicky muttered silently. It's okay dear Ellie I want you to feel good okay. Once again congratulations!
Ellie smiled and felt loved not knowing she was being trapped inside a dirty mind like Vicky's. Hurray!! We won. The shout came from the crowd, team Sapphires had won and they were jubilating.
Congrats bro! Rob said to Blake you are good at this and I knew that from the beginning. Congrats to you too the boys smiled and hugged each other passionately. Team Sapphire was given the golden medal. The children had fun throughout that day and didn't think they would forget their experience in a hurry.

**Day 6 (The murder case)**
It was almost the last day for the children at camp and so they decided to explore more about the place, made more friends, went biking and ate lots of fruits. They wanted to have all the fun they could get before finally saying goodbye to the Teks resort. Ellie was seen resting her head on Blake's shoulders when Vicky walked up to them. You guys are having fun here, wow the shade is cool and good enough for two love birds like yourselves. Blake smiled and Ellie just didn't get anything that was going on but just had to smile back, because the Vicky she knew was still in love with Blake and wouldn't wanna see anyone else close to him, but now she was acting all good. Maybe she has decided to finally let go, thought Ellie. Can I have a word with you Ellie?? Please just for a sec and I'm done so you get back to your prince charming Vicky said sarcastically. Ellie just smiled and excused herself. I want to tell you that I'm sorry for everything that has happened between you and I, all because of my selfish desire to get Blake. I see he doesn't need me but loves you instead so you two can be together you know! I have decided to let him go for you and for the sake of our friendship. Awwn!! That's sweet Vicky , thanks A lot. Ellie replied with a broad smile.
Now I have a surprise for you tonight just for you alone. Okay, meet me at the end of the lake tonight by 8pm and see what I got to celebrate my beauty queen and winner of the swimming competition. Vicky told Ellie. But the end of the lake is dangerous Vicky ( Ellie ) Umm yes but we aren't jumping into the water Ellie don't tell me you're a Scaredy cat? ( Vicky)
Okay I will come. Thanks Vicky Ellie said with bubbling eyes. It was almost 8pm and Ella saw Vicky sneak out of her room and decided to follow her to know what she was up to. Vicky got to the lake and sat there waiting for Ellie to arrive little did she know that she had been followed. Ella hid and watched what Vicky was up to but wasn't able to decipher anything. She only thought that maybe Vicky was feeling lonely and lovelorn so she decided to come out here by this time of the night to get herself back. Ella had compassion on her and decided to come out of her hiding place to go over to Vicky just to make her feel better. Ellie was on her way to the lake and a bit closer too, she had taken another route to the lake not the same route that Ella and Vicky had taken. She got to know about that route when she had hung out with Blake a day ago. It was something she would live to remember cause she had the best time ever with him. Vicky spotted a shadow approaching her and was ready to strike. She got up pretending to hug the person but immediately hit her with the wood she had in her hands, the girl fell face down into the water and drowned.
Ellie saw this happen in a flash, her legs shivered she couldn't move, she was speechless how could Vicky want to murder her cause of Blake but no! Now she had murdered the wrong person and that was Ella. Ellie had seen Ella walk towards Vicky; she had thought that Vicky also invited Ella not knowing that she didn't and wondered how Ella got there. Ellie hid behind a tree and watched Vicky make sure that the girl she just hit had drowned before leaving. Vicky threw the wood far away and ran back to camp. Ellie cried and ran as fast as she could back to her room, lay down on her bed and sobbed till the next morning. She got sick due to what she had witnessed and couldn't utter a word.
**Day 7 ( Truth and Suicide)**
The children had packed their luggages and were set to say goodbye to the resort. The bus had been waiting for them. The school authority had asked the staff to count the children and made sure they were complete and in good shape but someone was Missing. Vicky was shocked to the marrow to see Ellie in the arms of Blake who was trying to make her speak so she could tell him what's wrong with her on the other hand a search team had been sent to search the whole resort for the missing girl. The team in charge of searching the lake hit something and decided to check out what it was. Lo and behold it was a dead body. They brought the body of the child to the authority so they could identify her. When the body was brought Ellie cried more pointing in that direction unable to utter a word. The authorities were confused, the whole place was no more filled with excitement but sorrow. How do we tell her parents? What actually happened? Who could do this to her? An ambulance arrived immediately and took the body of Ella to the hospital for an autopsy to be performed on her.
The kids got on the bus and headed back to their different destinations. Blake and Rob couldn't leave the sides of the two crying girls so they decided to accompany them home. Blake called home and told them he wouldn't be arriving soon due to an incident that had occurred so did Rob as well. Vicky fake crying was being hit up with so many thoughts running through her mind. She now thought if Ellie witnessed her wicked act or not. Why she couldn't speak and why she didn't want her( Vicky ) to touch her. Vicky was going crazy, she didn't know what to think of anymore, she screamed and hit herself so hard no one understood this act of hers except the one person who witnessed the despicable act she committed. The bus halted at Ellie's house and her mum had come out to get her. Ellie ran to her mom and hugged her tight crying bitterly. Blake had highlighted with her, he didn't want her to suffer alone, he had to be with her, he wanted to share her pains and also fight with her till the end. Rob on the other hand wanted to comfort Vicky though he never had any feelings for her but at least for friendship's sake he stayed back on the bus and waved Ellie goodbye.
Ellie's mom took her to her room , thanked Blake for being nice and told him she could take it up from there but Blake insisted on staying with Ellie. Ellie's mom had no option but to accept and accommodate him in her house. Ellie narrated the whole story to her mom and her mom was dumbstruck. She remembered her dream it was supposed to be Ellie but Ella took the place they both cried bitterly. Blake's fists were hurting and ready to punch the stupidity out of Vicky but she wasn't anywhere close to him. The next day Ellie's mom took Ellie to the police station and a case was filed against Vicky. There was a knock at Vicky's house door and it went wide open Vicky's mom had welcomed them in warmly not knowing what was happening she was sad about the news too but didn't know why the police were at her house together with Ellie, Blake and Kathy. The police asked to see Vicky, so Vicky's mom went up to her room to get her but behold Vicky had committed suicide.

The Panic Picnic

The sun creeped in through the little hole in the window with its magnificent ray reflecting on her beautiful face. She lazily opened her pretty round eyes and looked at the wall clock in her small but amazing room. It was 8Aam. We had all waited for our sleeping beauty to wake up, and finally she opened her eyes. We had been spying on her not for anything but to know when our sleeping beauty would finally arise.
The three best friends ( Joy , Eldorado and Nadia) were all college students who loved doing everything together. We had this perfect relationship between friends that others on campus envied and some thought we were triplets since we basically looked alike, had almost the same height and lived close to each other, knew each other's secret and did everything together. We were just cool together you know. It was Nadia's birthday and we had all decided to go have a picnic at one the coolest hotels in the state. We chose that place because it was just the perfect place to have such an amazing picnic to celebrate our wonderful friend.
It's Saturday sleepy head!! Joy exclaimed to the cute being still laying in bed. I opened the window and a cool breeze blew in on her causing a wide smile to spread on her face, revealing her white perfect dentition making her look so breathtaking. Happy birthday!! Echoed myself and Joy making her smile even more. We really love ourselves so much that we love to see each other swimming in so much joy.
Ohh!! it's my birthday, Nadia said, getting up from the bed, she peeped outside and admired the beauty of nature. The breeze kept blowing and the birds were chirping melodiously, the sky was blue and the sun was looking more beautiful than ever, making Nadia feel even more special that even nature honored her day by giving her such fair weather. We all dashed out of Nadia's room and had our normal morning routine.
Since it was Nadia's birthday! We added a little flavor to our day just to make her feel more special. There was a division of fun labor. I went grocery shopping, Nadia and Joy packed the baskets for the picnic and prepared all the necessary things we needed to bake a cake to carry along for this long awaited day out. When I got back from the grocery store we started baking the cake. It was fun. We chitchatted about our boyfriend's, enemies and worst of all, most of our annoying lecturers at school. We sang the happy birthday song by Jovanie to our birthday girl and danced around her. She blushed and felt loved. We played while waiting for the cake to be ready, filled the compound with a shout of celebration and poured water on ourselves until beep! The cake was ready. Nadia wanted to see what it looked like first so we let her bring it out of the oven and it was just the perfect cake for a perfect picnic and a perfect princess.
We had our baths, wore something casual, packed all we needed and set out to enjoy our day. When we finally arrived at the resort we got down from the cab and took a short view of the environment and it was just perfect. Nadia was feeling pretty and blessed to have such amazing friends and a tear dropped down her cheeks. I and Joy hugged her telling her all the sweet things in the world and she felt even more blessed. We found our way past the security guards and headed to the open field where we spread our sheets, unpacked our loaded baskets, placed the cake in the middle and decorated it with candles. We couldn't wait for our Nadia to blow those lights we had lit on the candle off and make an extraordinary birthday wish. At this moment the time was 3:30pm. We sang and danced around her again and she blushed even more. It was time for her to blow off those candle lights.
We were all smiling as our beautiful Nadia blew off the lights and was about to make her wish when the unexpected happened.
**A state of Panic**

Nadia slumped to the ground, I and joy were thinking it was her own way of making her wish, seconds passed away without her rising then we began to panic. Nadia had been fine all the time we were preparing for her picnic, she was strong and didn't seem like anything was bothering her. We tried waking her up but to no avail. Our Nadia was breathing but couldn't hear us or give any response to our calling. We ran to the security guards and reported the situation to them. An ambulance was brought ASAP carrying our birthday girl to the hospital. I and Joy were panicking uncontrollably with tears welled up in our eyes. We had waited for this day and finally it came and now the unexpected just happened. We got to the hospital at 4: 50 pm and Nadia was rushed to the emergency room.
The doctor asked us to calm down cause at this point we were crying uncontrollably, people were staring at us and wondering what was going on but they were just as lost as we were because we needed an answer to the reason Nadia slumped that way on her birthday that we all wanted to celebrate with joy. We couldn't go home at all for fear of what might happen to Nadia. I tried comforting Joy even when deep down I was bleeding badly. The doctor asked us to take a rest so that he was gonna run a test on her to know what's wrong with her but taking a rest wasn't part of what we wanted to do that time, all we wanted was to know what's behind our friends slumber and was ready to fight with her to the end.
I woke up the next morning on the couch with Joy's head resting on my shoulder. It was a Sunday morning and the doctor had not arrived yet so I and joy headed home to freshen up before heading back to the hospital to check on Nadia and also get her test results.
We lost all appetite and had just fruits from the remains of what I got from the grocery store. We rushed back to the hospital looking helpless. Someone could perceive from our looks that all wasn't well. The receptionist welcomed us as soon as we stepped into the hospital and told us the doctor wanted to see us. At the doctor's office he had a paper in his hands, asked us to sit down and told us not to Panic. "Who is she to you?" was the question from the doctor, Joy picked it up immediately telling him she was our friend and we stayed in the same apartment though different rooms but attend the same college. Giving him all the vital information he needed while I was getting impatient with my head buried in my hands waiting to hear the result the doctor had.
Finally he got the information he needed and gave the result slip to me. What?? How come?? Where?? When?? Who?? Were the questions that escaped my lips, I cried and Joy took the slip from me and gave it a look she couldn't utter a word cause I know she had the same questions to ask. Calm down misses were the words of the doctor, she is fine and the baby is doing well!! Baby??? We couldn't wait for her to wake up to explain to us how she got a baby in her stomach...
The Power Of Imaginations
There is a notion that says " the person with imaginations is never alone and never finished".
I once asked myself a question:
*Can imaginations become reality??*
Since imagination is just the ability to create pictures in the mind, is there a possible means of making any beautiful or ugly picture become real?
Guess what? I got an answer which was a big "YES". Amazingly I was glad when I got that answer from my mentor. I began to picture things with my mind with the impression that I would wake up one morning and find everything I pictured right in front of my face. Funny right? I know, I wasn't thinking straight. I was thinking like a baby not until I had to sit up and make up my mind to understand what this picturing of things in the mind really is, if it works and how I would go about getting it to become a reality.
I got to understand that so many successful people in the world today who have made their way to greatness actually had a picture of themselves becoming successful and worked hard enough to make sure that the beautiful image their mind had created became a reality.
I love movies and this particular one I would love to mention here was mind blowing when I got to watch it.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND:
A breathtaking adventurous movie, centered on the life of an imaginative child " Alice". She always saw herself in a world of wonders where everything could speak both animals and trees. Funny enough she could understand them and communicate with them as well. This her super duper imagination actually got her to the real wonderworld where she thought everything happening was all a dream. She had these wild imaginative concepts that made her the chosen one to free the wonderworld from the evil queen. To cut the long story short, Alice's imaginations took her to wonderland.
People imagine different things both positive and negative without sitting back to realize the power of imaginations. Where do we think all the beautiful buildings in the world emerge from?? Do you think the architect just woke up one morning and got builders to bring up such construction?? No is the answer. I would tell you why, my Bestie is an architect and he tells me stories of how he pictures the drawing of cool buildings in his mind and when such imaginations occur he said he rushes to get his laptop and would sketch out whatever he pictured in his mind on the laptop producing a fascinating sight of a cool building. (I'm going to give two photos to add here, gotten from my bestie)
Imagination is a drive to success believe it or not it is also a drive to absolute failure.
Yes I said failure!! People imagine the worst of themselves. Let me ask you, what makes people commit suicides?? Imaginations, you know they must have prolly pictured all the steps to achieving their despicable goal, this doesn't just happen in a day, they picture and harbor this image in their minds until the day for them to strike and boom!! You hear that someone committed suicide, it all began from the framing and constructing of such acts with the mind.
You know what they say "your imagination can take you anywhere". I believe this statement and hold on to it steadfastly cause I have actually seen it produce good results.
So people, program your imaginative mindset to positive thinking only, picture great and Beautiful things you would love to strive to get in the nearest tomorrow, sketch them out like my Architect I discussed earlier and watch them come true into something like a beautiful building .
Imagination can strive for excellence and accuracy at all times I tell you, it can attain professional distinction and expertise.
Create your pictures today using your mind with a constant awareness of improving processes necessary for positive growth.
