Whenever I see this message, my brain reads it as "This game is probably fair". And I think, well is it or isn't it? #Faucet

.....provably fair describes an algorithm which can be analyzed and verified for fairness on the part of the service operator. Unless they can prove then it is a load of b/s, sounds good tho I did some consultancy work for a popular faucet site. Despite claiming "Provably Fair" it was in fact rigged to not pay out 9886 to 10000. No problem getting 0001 to 01115 randomly selected, which of course has the same statistical probability. The service operators admitted as that was the only way they could make a profit. Occasionally they would manually allow 9886 so that it would get published on twitter as proof it was provably fair.

Such statements usually raise a red flag and suspicion with me.. but indeed, how can you be sure/verify/know?

It could well be...or not... this is why DYOR should be at the base of all decisions!
