I've been looking into inflation here in the UK. The Bank of England says: "We expect inflation to keep rising. It is hard to predict the future, but we think it’s likely to reach around 10% this year and go down next year. We expect it to be close to 2% in around two years." From 10% in 2022 to 2% in 2024 seems a pretty quick drop to me! This prediction seems to be based on the war in Ukraine ending and Covid going away, both of which would be great but certainly not guaranteed. #random #inflation https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/knowledgebank/will-inflation-in-the-uk-keep-rising

In my country, the inflation rate announced by the official institution is 69% per year, and the unofficial inflation rate announced by the independent economy researchers' association is around 157% per year. Come live in Turkey and meet the real inflation. :)
Turkey?, come to Venezuela and enjoy a real hardcore imposible surviving experience. We have the worst inflación & economy od the world. Buy Milk at 10 AM on $1(1 dollar). Came 2 hours later same day, same place, same milk : $2 (2 dollars). During the days all prices fluctuates, but never go down, only high. That is really sick.
hard to put the genie back in the bottle
A lot can happen in a year, but I am certainly not holding my breath. The inflation is about way more than just the war and Covid.
Does cryptocurrency affected by inflations?
Housing, fuel, energy and food prices would like a word with him. Pretty sure it's been above 10% for a while now.
