Presearch's token PRE has shot up in price, so I was expecting the search engine to reduce the amount of PRE it rewarded to users. And so it has, but only from 0.12 to 0.10 PRE per search - a much smaller drop than I anticipated. As the price of PRE is currently $0.32, it means that each eligible search is still netting users $0.03... which soon adds up! #Cryptocurrency

August was such a great month for the 'Learn and Earn' schemes. I picked up some GRT, SUSHI and IOTX from CoinMarketCap Earn, along with some RLY and FET from Coinbase Earn. I just did the 'Learn to Earn' lessons in KuCoin. It's a bit of a con really - although you can nominally earn 0.6 USDT, the minimum withdrawal is 8 USDT! You can pick up a further 7 USDT bonus through doing some spot trading, but even then you would be 0.4 short of the withdrawal minimum. I'm just trying to get my head around liquidity mining in Cake DeFi. Especially this bit: "Simple mode conveniently and automatically swaps half of your BCH input into DFI, before both are added into the BCH-DFI liquidity pool." So effectively I'd be buying DFI in order to carry out the mining? And when I come to withdraw my assets, I'd have to convert the DFI back into BCH? #CryptoTrading

I've been thinking some more about Presearch. Minimum withdrawal is 1,000 #PRE - which has a value of $168 at today's prices. But in my case, only 50% of my PRE tokens are 'currently eligible for withdrawal'. That means I need 2,000 PRE - worth $336 - to make a withdrawal! I've been looking at the Cake DeFi freezer rewards some more. Out of the 40.9M DFI that has been frozen in total, an amazing 18.1M - 44% - has been frozen for the maximum 120 months (10 years)! That's a lot of people with long-term faith in DFI... #DeFi

Despite an APY of 75%, my DFI on Cake Defi is currently worth *less* (in dollar terms) than it did when I got it a month ago. It goes to show that yield isn't everything - if the price of the coin or token drops by more than the yield, you'll still end up out of pocket. Well, this is cheeky! Bonus funds in StormGain (the funds you get from the 'miner') are going to expire before the end of the month. I have $9 of bonus funds which I can't currently trade as the minimum is $10. I also have $9 in the miner which has suddenly and mysteriously slowed right down - and guess what, the minimum withdrawal is also $10!
