*Fluency Practice* This is probably not one of the most innovative nor creative of practices, but this has proven effective for my student's oral reading fluency. After some attempts at reading, we started to highlight the passage as we read the lines. I made sure to put marks beforehand at the parts where she misses the appropriate pauses or pauses unnecessarily. The highlighting helped her keep track of where she is while reading as well as help her control the pace she's reading at. What do you think of this? Are there other practices or suggestions you might have?
