There are about 300 species of wild roses from which more than 6000 delicious varieties have been bred. People have been breeding roses for more than 1,000 years. This plant was known even in Ancient Babylon, from where it later came to Ancient Greece, where they even invented greenhouses for their wintering. 📷 roses from my garden

wow the babylon and greece was really great back thenn..
I love those roses especially with the unique and lovely colors. I just feel sad because i have tried several times to grow roses but i always fail, my roses always die.
Most likely the soil type was not suitable. A slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5 -6.5) is considered ideal for roses.
