Thanks for the welcome dinner prepared by my Chinese friends last night. Really missed all those food as i was away for 16 days. Back to good food again.

Back to reality. Travelling mode ON. Today I am flying to Jakarta, Indonesia to visit our biggest shoe factory. Hope everything still okey after my visit last year. Keep us safe, oh Lord. 🙏🙏🙏

Today's breakfast at our canteen. Good food but too hot and humid environment. Still cannot have good appetite to eat because i am always sweaty and uncomfortable. It is burning hot in Myanmar @42 deg C.

Late upload. I had a very good dinner last night. Tried to look for some cozy restaurant and we found this place. The food was super delicious and healthy. I will be back for another festive dinner.

Last night was the farewell party of the boss (in white shirt) of our Myanmar factory. Salute to this man full of wisdom. He was able to setup our new Myanmar factory and stabilized the operations. Now better life for our workers and management as the factory is already achieving its goals. Thanks for a job well done, Boss. Good luck to the new factory you will setup in Vietnam.

I had beef noodles for lunch but was not able to finish all because the serving was too much. This is our canteen's version of the beef noodles. So yummy that i felt full immediately. Hope you guys also enjoyed your sumptuous lunch. Have a great day ahead!!!

I had my last supplier factory visit today before i leave Indonesia. The factory is really clean, organized and quality oriented. I hope all suppliers have the same level of factory management. As a reward for being the best supplier to us, we will be allocating more projects/orders for them. Thanks for the productive visit today.

At the Immigration office today to process my Indonesian work permit/Kitas. Very smooth and fast transaction. Thanks for all the Immigration staff for the very good service. Terima kasih.

My grand daughter visited my sister's farm in Indang, Cavite. It is really cold there so she is wearing that pink hoodie. She actually asked her mom to take pictures while she changed to different poses. So cute and lovely kid, she is doing it by herself. She loves doing selfies, too. Having fun while having good food for dinner and a bottle of Bintang, the famous Indonesian beer. We had lots of stories to share. 3 of us worked together in Myanmar to setup a factory several years ago. Now we are reunited in Indonesia for another new factory setup and training. We were fondly called 3 DY because our names all end in DY.....Heidy, Rudy and Redy. What a coincidence. Good night to all of you, guys.

Here is a glimpse of my room in the factory. I also have a small porch where i can sit outside at night while relaxing before bedtime. Thanks to the management team of our new factory for taking good care of us. The room is simple but it feels so relaxing compared to the other rooms i had in our 3 other factories. Our Indonesia factory is also the biggest factory in our group with 34 hectares of land and is planned to produce 3 million pairs of shoes per month when in full production phase. Big challenge. We have to make it happen.

Here in Indonesia, we are only half day on Saturdays😊😍 so i have the time to relax and enjoy my lunch. Here is today's lunch (late upload). The canteen staff sent to my room because i had the meeting until 12:30 and they need to close the canteen. But it was too much for me, cannot finish all. Later i need to talk to the canteen manager that i cannot eat rice and meat, just veggies, chicken and fish. Will have power nap and later our colleagues asked me to go with them to the mall for relaxation and buying some groceries. Enjoy your day, too, noisemates.😊😁😍😍

Hotel quarantine finally ended. I am on my way now to our shoe factory. Thanks, God for the good weather. No traffic and our trip is very smooth. It will take us 4 hours to reach our destination. Please guide us oh Lord as we travel. 🙏🙏🙏

Day 2 of my hotel quarantine in Tangerang, Indonesia. My hotel room is small because it is only a 4-star hotel but i am ok with it because my quarantine is only for 3 days. The outside view still have some trees and plants but several months later, this place will be converted into more hotels or commercial buildings as a lot of constructions are ongoing. Can't wait to meet my colleagues in our new factory. Hope i can train them as much as i can. Enjoy your day, guys!!!

At a Japanese resto with some friends. A simple brunch. It's cheat day for me because i have not eaten rice and meat for several weeks already. Today i have ordered beef steak and salmon sushi with strawberry and orange tea. Let's dig in. The matcha ice cream will be served later. Good day, guys!!!

Let's try these 2 different flavors of Vietnamese version of hopia - durian & coconut (green package) and durian & green bean (orange package). Both taste good but you need to combine with non sweetened drinks because it is too sweet for me. Let's enjoy and savor the 2 different flavors. Have a good day ahead. God bless.

Big bowl of salad plus dragon fruit to start the day. I am trying to reduce meat and rice intake and will do this for several months.

I got this for lunch. Kimchi and beef hotpot plus seaweed & tomato salad. I am not a vegetarian but my food choices are more of veggies plus some meat or fish or seafoods. I was so full now so i need some time to rest. Enjoy your Sunday everyone!!!
