Abandoned buildings of Jinhua Now, these aren’t your typical ‘abandoned’ buildings, and this post isn’t really for the photography itself but more some information and my own wondering. What you’re looking at is one of many apartment blocks being built. This is like a small city to me... but, these were everywhere and has little to no residents. I couldn’t understand why there were so many empty new buildings. I knew people who owned apartments that were totally empty, without even paint on the walls. These are new and kept going up! But why? I heard there were government incentives to continually building, buying land and building. But these weren’t cheap either. It didn’t make much sense to me, I would like to know more. But these were everywhere I looked off into the distance... 15-20 new blocks being built, thousands of appartments with no residents...
