Mt Ruapehu (and Mt Doom) Can you see Mt.Doom in the distance just above the clouds? How cool is that! Yes, that’s the mountain I posted in the previous post, and now here I was up Mt.Ruapehu! ... skiing! This is the largest mountain in the north island at 2,800m, and has NZ largest ski area! The South Island is way more popular for skiing due to the better now, but this is a 3 hour drive from where I live!:) Mountains and geothermal wonderlands for this weeks theme! Water next week, and I’m thinking green for the following!:)

holy moly that must being freezing temperatures on the top there, I guess that´s nothing for me, the view is awesome but I like it a little more warm ;)
