Chateau Tongariro! At the base of Mt Ruapehu, where I was skiing last weekend, is this amazing chateau! No, I haven’t stayed here as it’s a little out of my price range haha! But it’s a lovely building and makes for a lovely scene. The big free field out the front is a nice place to relax and have a picnic with a awesome view. It’s also a base point for lots of cool nearby hikes :) Peace and love!
