Red Crater, Tongariro, NZ Good morning everyone!:) following on with The amazing Tongariro crossing, here’s some pictures of ‘red crater’. I’m not sure how well the deep red comes out in these pictures, but it was a deep crimson. Also, in the second picture there was a shade of pink/purple all along the ground - was hard to pick up but hope you can see it! I also have a video of this hike I will share with everyone later!:) Still on the ‘mountains’ theme for this week!:) then moving onto geothermal wonderlands, then water!:) lots of awesome pictures to come! Note - I had to make my image size smaller to upload for some reason so might not be as clear.
