Hokitika Gorge, West Coast, New Zealand. This sure was a treat! :) the milky blue colour was unreal, honestly. Pictures can only do it so much justice, it was incredible. From nearby glaciers eroding the light grey rocks, rivers in the mountainous areas nearby have a grey/white colour to them (which is beautiful in its own right!:). Here, they mix with crystal clear blue waters of glaciers and the minerals all combine to create this stunning river! ....It sure was cold!
