Black water Bridge jump.... This photo is quite different to most of the ones I usually post, but this area is quite popular for risk takers! The rocks and waterfall you see is at very low flow due to the water being held back by a dam that is released periodically. When it’s released, the water flows very fast and fills up to the top of those rocks! The deep black water is that colour due to the rocks taking on a very dark shade when wet. It looks pretty dramatic, but many people jump off of that bridge! It’s high up too. The water is deep but it’s very risky, not only because of visibility, but the instant release of water is regular. I haven’t jumped from here by the way. I don’t think I will, my bridge jumping days are over... for now 😜 Peace and love!
