It is heartbreaking to me how much anti-Jewish crap continues to circulate around in our culture. The most recent one that I encountered was an old piece of garbage called the "Franklin Prophecy", which was first published in a pro-Nazi magazine in the 1930's. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Prophecy ) Are some Jewish people assholes? Of course! Jews are people just like everyone else, so there will be good Jews and asshole Jews, smart Jews and stupid Jews, athletic Jews and geeky Jews, highly religious Jews and Jews in name only. Source: I grew up in a community with a significant population of Jewish families. Lots of my classmates were Jewish, to the point that teachers did not give tests on Jewish holidays.
Instead of virtue signalling,why not tell me about the Holodomor. Tell me about the 500,000 children that were murdered in Iraq and who said 'It was worth it'. We have been groomed from early school age to see the world in one way. How much do you know about your own people's history? Was it taught in your school growing up? I respect all people as you can see from my posts but I call out liars and deception where I see them.
Somewhere on YouTube there is a video by an African American activist who is making the case that Jews were instrumental in bringing the slave trade to the new world. But he goes out of his way to point out that NOT ALL JEWS were involved in this. At the time the slave trade was getting started, many Jews in Europe were being persecuted. Jeffrey Epstein seems to have been a pretty nasty fellow, and he was also Jewish. But to make a leap from "Jeffrey Epstein was bad" to "all Jewish men are bad" would be ludicrous. Do Jews have disproportionate influence in western societies? Of course, but why they have this influence has some historical causes, particularly the injunction against charging interest by the Christian church. But you have a good point about the Holodomor, because I never even heard of it before your post. I always felt bad for the original inhabitants of cities such as Jericho in the Bible, who got wiped out by basically a group of invaders.
BTW .... I am German from my father’s side, and English from my mama’s side. My mama’s family is from the southeastern USA, and presumably owned slaves back before the “Northern War of Aggression”. So genetically I could be a slave owning Nazi!
