Regarding the "alternative" explanations of the events of 9/11, I used to think they were silly conspiracy theories. After all, why would a government attack its own people? And people actually saw the planes hit the buildings, didn't they? But ..... then Covid19 hit. When folks started claiming that it was created in a lab, they were vilified as "conspiracy theorists". Unfortunately, it now looks like they were correct. And that not only China, but the American government was heavily involved in the creation of this new disease. I would have never in a million years imagined that a person in Dr. Fauci's position would fund the creation of a new highly contagious virus, and then lie about it.

I agree. I almost don't want to know anymore. I find myself listening to fewer and fewer "alternative platform" videos, not because I think they don't present a good argument backed with verifiable data, but rather because I'm starting to become paranoid about ALL governments and ALL powerful people. If things are really, really that bad, (if the worst rumors about the top 1% are true), do I really want to know about it?
I think we are building a new system of governance with p2p crypto and governance tokens. Looking at veFlex which is a voting token issued to stakers in the Flex DAO, you get to vote on issues that affect the platform and get rewarded with Flex for your participation. Why cant national governments be run this way?
Because national governments are run by thugs, who govern by force. @anli is correct, and they ain’t gonna give up their ability to coerce.
