One of the most colorful plants found in our garden is the MAYANA plants with red leaf colors. It was being cultivated indoor by my mama because she believes that enough sunlight could make the leaves more radiant when it comes to color. She told me that Mayana plants is considered to be a herbal plants because it can cure wounds, swelling,bruises and cysts.

nice. yes it is a medicinal plant
true. same in our area. My parents also believe it can help cure some illness. We usuay call that here as "atay-atay" in my mother tongue.
