Ancient Roman residential building. I think the poorest people live right under the roof. But they live in a safer place. At least they don’t pour the contents of the night dish on their heads. Sometimes there were no toilets and people used night containers that were emptied right through the window. In Pompeii they found the following inscription my photograph below. I wet the bed, it's true, as a guest I probably made a mistake. Now you ask me why? There is no tile anywhere in the room. (night urination containers)
