The flower was on the small shaking side but still packed a punch. I honestly wonder how they always have such small almost bottoms on these cheaper Half Quaters.

What up canna peeps, Another episode this on is a good one. I have finally made the flip to the big tent. This may be the last time it is on 18 hours as I hope to just keep adding more and more small plants as they come off. If this doesn't turn out I may move the tent to 18 hours full time and run autos.
With the auto finally, at the point, I could cut it down and be happy. I am thinking it may be close to a QP after it's dry. The top colas are nice and dense and quite sticky. I am very happy with the turnout on this yield.
The hooch and other plants are I think at that point. The only issue is I got a lot of bare soil now at the back of the tent I'll need a cover crop.
With that the clones are still waiting in supersoil and worm casting mix to root, I also have 3 lemon dragon that has shown life, and that's a huge bonus. They will be the next run but I think I need to do a run of FEM seeds to make sure I get some good clones.

What up canna peeps? Not too much of an update today. Slowly coming along with the skunk it is orange but still some clear so a few more days I am thinking.
The other small plants are doing fantastic and should see growth this week on the clones.
The hooch is growing away but has a bit more leaf damage than I like to see.
The super lemon dragon is in soil, 3 had roots while the other 2 didn't so they got put in soil as well.
Hopefully, the bottle of DR enzymes is still given as it's been handed over to border control so 🤞 it shows up.

Been two days since I cut the big Dr green down and replanted 3 clones. So far 2 are taking better than I thought. The one never took, I didn't think it would but moved it anyway.
The auto skunk cheese is still a few more days out, I am thinking past Saturday but they can change so fast so could be done within the week.
With the 2 other Mac strains, I really can't complain about them. I feel the ones are female but won't be able really to tell till I take the light down a couple.

I was quite happy when I opened this strain to see some actually nice looking with some bigger buds.

With the dr greenspin just growing an inch a day and touching the lights I knew it was time to chop it down.
I have cut around 20 more clones off her and chopped the rest. I have planted 3 of the clones of this strain as I put a flip date for this tent next Saturday on October 23rd.
The plan is to have a bunch of clones I can just keep replacing plants with so this tent will stay on 12/12 light.
I sprayed this again with insecticidal soap. This seems to be keeping them at bay but till I get this auto out and I can hit them hard.
I think flipping will help as climate changes like lower temp and less humidity.

Working on getting this pest problem under control again is becoming a chore. I have been hitting them with different stuff but as I have a flower auto it is hard to get rid of them.
With the auto really starting to pack some weight and Change colours I am finally happy with an auto I grew.
Minus the pest problem I think I'll end with a decent smoke.
The marigolds are doing their job and getting chewed apart more than the plants but that's why the whole point of them.
This darn female just won't stop growing, It is touching the light now so I raised that the rest of the way.

Organic tea episode 3, with the worm tea added and no change ifln the plants I am now able to add the bokashi tea. This is a probiotic tea so this is one that is really going to feed to microbiology.
Not much to report on the plants outside I am still trimming bottoms off to help fight any pests.

Part two of the compost tea, This time I show the massive mess it made by making to much. This is a good thing though as this means it worked and we got lots of life.
We add 1.5 gallons of water to the strained tea. The 100 gallon got most of that with 1.5 gallons out of the two it made.
When it comes to the auto I can now see daily growth to the flowers. This is a great sign of it spreading up so I can flip this whole tent to 12/12.
Now I just have the bokashi tea that I'll be adding next episode. This is a 4 part episode as we will also have a banana tea being added on the 4th day.

Is now the time to start buying beta cards? With the chaos legion set coming up for presale and 1 month after that we will see the new card set released along with a load of new features. The skunk is starting to pack on some weight, You can see in the video and photos the buds spots are tightening up and I feel over the next 2 weeks it finishes.

Alien Worlds UI Update - New Strategy For Earning
With me moving to NFT gaming and crypto full time I have been trying to find more games to try out. When I kept hearing that alien world had an update I thought I should check it out.
The old game was very basic and kinda garbage really, You could set 2 weapons from the UI, It had no real information on stats at all.
This new update, it has many of the missing features. Let's take a small look at some of the updates and my future plans.
The UI is completely different, When you log in you will see some nice new logos.
On the left, you will see a menu with a place to switch tools, plants,or land. This will also show you the % taken from landowners and TLMs.You can also see some other stats like the amount of TLM staked and liquid.
Shining takes you to a new place that will allow you to upgrade 4 of the same shinning into a new one
Governance leads you to the place you can stake your TLM.
Missions are new and not yet out but I think it may help the game become more than an idle game.
When you click change tools now you are able to attach 3 of the same tools if you want.
When I logged on I noticed I had some 350 tlm staked and I wasn't interested in putting more than $20 into new more powerful NFTs.
I went and bought 2 drills that equaled to 67 wax or about $19 at the time of purchase. With the 350 TLM I decided to unstable that and purchase a better NFT like an extractor.
The reason I went with an extractor and 2 drills is my NFT mining chance is now over 1%.
They will now be my set up and I'll start to mine again daily hoping for some epic NFTs and earn TLM while I do it

1. The account info section can be super useful, it has information about the current season and past like win%, streak, and amount of battles.

The second tool I have found that is insanely useful is the splinterstats website.
This site has useful information about the reward cards but more so has a spot to build a perfect stat and layout for the end of the season.

Splinterlands Death Starter Deck 2021 - Beginning Bronze
With this being my second or third post about splinterlands I think I have finally found a deck that might work for a while. Now, this deck so far has no gotten me any daily quest it has gotten me up to level bronze III.
I have found the one thing that is hard to find is good starting decks for each colour. Now, who knows maybe I am just rambling on but at this point, I think someone might find my post handy.
when picking cards to play it can be pretty hard to find the right combination of cards that actually work well together. Now some of these cards are going o be worth a couple of dollars and some will be the starter cards.
The summoner, I have been using is OWSTER ROTWLL RARE Death Summoner

This summoner is a death summoner allowing it to use death monsters and neutral monsters. it has a mana cost of 3, which is a common summoner cost. The ability it offers is "all friendly monsters receive the magic reflect ability at the start of a match".
The magic reflect is a very useful ability to start off the match with.
The second card I have been using to use is BONE GOLEM

This card is a good choice to pick for the ability weaken, it reduces the health of enemy monsters. This I think is clear why it helps.
The fourth card I like to use is TWISTED JESTER
RARE Death Monster

Selling older cards to upgrade more?
Some advice, I have slowly been trying to get back into splinterlands but am unsure what to buy. I have gone and checked a few of my cards and I have found that I own an alpha dragon welp and it is worth around $50 and I have another card worth $10.
Do you think it might be worth selling these and buying a few cheaper cards. or should I keep these and just push to try and earn more reward cards?

Is Hive Back Dollar The Safest Stable Coin - Earn Interest With Your Own Keys
Are you into defi? I know I love the idea of Defi and earning interest on our coins. Hive Back Dollar offers the safest and best stable coin interest.
The one thing about Defi and cefi is the fact you don't actually hold your own funds. At least not on a ceDefi that I have used.
What's a ceDefi you might ask? Well in my eyes a defi with a smart contact is still very centralized. Why is it very centralized well, because of that GOLDEN rule in crypto, Not your keys not your crypto.
When you send your funds to a centralized smart contract you are putting you funds at risk and uncertainty of HACKS and RUG PULLS.
This brings me to the point of this post, I am always on the hunt for the safest returns but still GOOD ones that will always beat a bank. I mean banks can be trusted more so than most of these "DEFI" HYIPS.
This brings me to the stable coin part of ceDefi and Cefi like USDT and BUSD. We all know that these are "backed" by real USD or so we are told. This is up in the air for many years in the crypto space but that's for another post. But when you look at holding them with a stable dollar value we know or hope they are the safest. Now, this post ain't about the safest but I will get to that more soon.
I want to talk about the interest rate you can gain by holding the best stable coin in my eyes or soon to be the best. When you look at [Nexo](https://nexo.io/) or [Blockfi](https://blockfi.com/) or even [binance](https://www.binance.com/en) you can see that the interest earned is OK compared to banks at 2-8% APY. That is not too bad, am I right? I mean my bank is offering a 0.5% interest ATM.
But when we think of these places you are really not in control of any funds and you can lose them at any point. We all know that many many exchanges have closed shop and scammed their members.
When we look at ceDefi it is such a great idea but has a long long way to go. You are not in control of your funds here either. You may think you do but that is not the case. When it comes to the interest rate you will find some of the best in the finance space but High Risk is Higher Reward.
The reason I say you are not in control of your funds would be the fact you have no way to get your funds out of that contract once the webpage goes down. We have seen this many times here on the BSC ( Binance Smart Chain). With ceDefi you really must trust in the team and the project to trust it with more than a few dollars.
Then we have the token you earn from the ceDefi project, Many of them have no value or will hold no value so your rate of return can be affected by this as well. DO you hold or do you sell?
The interest rate is what we want to look at, With [cubdefi](https://cubdefi.com/farms) you can earn a nice 32% APR in the busd-usdt pool. Now that is not a small amount and within that year will likely net close to 15%. This is just an estimate but I have seen it go down from 48-32 in a couple of months.
Remember though you are not in control of your funds with these smart contracts even though cubdefi is a very trusted team hacks can happen.
This now brings me to the whole point of this post, Hive Backed Dollars. When you think of HBD you are not thinking it is the most stable coin but let me tell you soon it will be the most stable coin. With HF25 coming to hive at the end of the month it has so many changes and the potential it makes HBD a sure buy for a stable coin.

Ulog Day 2 - Goals set
Ulog day 2,
The idea being is to set goals and document my goals to see if I am able to hit them. In the last ulog I was asking for some tips to get started with learning code.
I was asking for information on python and it turns out we got some interesting post to be written by @learncode. I have made sure to follow them so I can see how python and the hive blockchain work.

The goals I have set out this week are small but easy ones I think I can achieve.
Learn code aka python for 10 hours this week, I am hoping to hit 2 hours a day during the week. I think this is a nice easy goal to start with. The first site I am going to use is https://www.codecademy.com/, I am thinking this is a good start as I have some basic knowledge of code but very little mostly HTML.
day 2 - 25 minutes
The second goal is more to d with hive and getting 2-4 posts out per day. I plan to get out the #ulog and the #grow-log pot every day. But I am also hoping to start getting more posts out in the other great communities here on hive.

I thought that In the ulog I would also add in some of my Crypto goals.
The first goal, of course, is going to be hive, I am hoping by the end of June I can be at 2500 hive. I know this goal has changed and actually gotten smaller I think I can still hit 3000 by the end of the year.

The second goal for crypto has to be with my BCH, I have been actually collecting more and more from noise.cash and earning on some days around $1-$3. So nothing much but it adds up much like #hive earning $1-$3 a day adds up. The goal is to get to 0.1 BCH by the end of the month.

Goal number three is to start getting more passive crypto income, I am not a huge fan of the defi sites besides @leofinance cubdefi but even then it is hard to like any site that has its own token and the tokens don't seem to hold value.
The way I plan to do this is likely going to be a centralized place like NEXO for BCH and maybe try to find a liquid stable pool on pancake swap or binance. With pancake, it's more the trust issue why I don't hold funds on it.
For now, under this goal, I am going to list a few places I can earn interest.

Learning to code - Day 1

When it comes to this year I am sure I am not the only one looking for other means of work. I for one have been looking and waiting even before covid to change my job. With that, I have been waiting to change my job and learn to code or more so ATM python.

Day 1 - Finding Sites to Use and Lessons I should take.
When To Take Profit?
When should we take profits? With the crazy crypto drop we just saw a week ago it has more and more people thinking "Should I take profit" "When should I take profit" "How much profit is enough". Of course, I am also one of the people thinking this, as I am hodler and trader. I never got rekt too bad on this dump as I put most of mine back into a stable coin cause I kind of felt a correction coming. But I also don't think anyone saw this big of one coming quite yet.

When this happened, I was sure to pull my liquid out of the couple of stable pools I was in and buy up some of these cheap coins. I almost felt like a kid in a candy store, Thinking of all the cheap coins I could buy up and be sure to 2x most of them in a week. This so far has not been the case,

During this dump, I was hanging to in the @canna-curate discord as I normally do during the day and @greenhouseradio or frank was talking about [kucoin](https://www.kucoin.com/ucenter/signup?rcode=24s8s) bot.

Prior to him talking about it I honestly never checked it out but I was interested at this point as he said you can use others' settings to almost have sure wins.

When it came time to set up the bot I will maybe leave that for a future post and make a kucoin guide. But for now, this post is about taking profit and when is the right time. When I set up the couple bots I was doing "OK".
The first bot was a Kucoin/BTC bot, this one was up one day and I had profit in the 30% range but I thought "it can go higher and double" well I was wrong so far. The second bot was a matic/BTC bot and I thought I had bought very low I can for sure make some easy on this. Well over the next 4 days it dumped and dumped hard being it was down -40% at one point. I told myself I am going to make it back or bust.
As seen here I am almost back in profit, This profit is due to trading not so much the price I originally bought at.
The third bot I want to talk about is the polk/btc one I set up. This is the next bot that I thought was going to be another matic/btc and I was going to be waiting days to profit or break even. But I was wrong this jumped up and at one point hit +22% and I thought man I can make more but a couple lose and by the time I closed the trading bot I took a 15.6% profit.
This profit I did not think was a bad one making 15.6% over 4 days is near impossible to find many other places. But could I have made more? Should I have waited it out to try and 2x my trades as I did buying the dip? or is small profit over a smaller amount of days better?
When I look at the kucoin/btc trade that is almost on day 7 now and only just now back to 10%. Here I say only 10% in 7 days but really 10% over 7 days is killer and won't be found in most places.
You can look at the LTC/Kucoin bot I got and is 5.4% over 2 days worth closing the bot for? I am still so unsure when to close bots but I think I will aim to hit that 15% or higher mark before I do.

Week number 4 coming a few days late but the buys have all been done at the same time as the weeks before being they are set up to auto-buy.

Bitcoin had taken a huge rally up last weekend from Thursday to Sunday it went up about 8k Canadian push the ATH closer to 100k.
The total over 7 days being 0.00019168 BTC it was a little less than last week. 0.00001781 BTC Over the last 2 weeks it had been about 1800 less SATS so you can see buying them dips in a bull run could pay off.

I decided that it would be best to buy the BTC on the 7th day to fully compare the final amount.
I am actually shocked after the run BTC had that it was not much lower than only 101 Sats difference in total. The price difference was only around $400. This Tabel shows that we have gone up 10,000 Canadian over the last month, This is great for people who have been buying in slowly or the dips cause you will be in the plus just for holding.

Week three of this and man it has made me keep track of BTC price more than before. This week BTC took another run towards 100k CDN and 60K USD.

The price of Bitcoin this week went up 10k this week with very few dips in the price. We still didn't hit the all-time high but after the next dip we may see a run towards 80k
The total over the 7 days was 0.00020949 making for a total of 0.00001983 less BTC than last week. This still makes for a total over the first week and a 3 week total of 0.00064725 BTC bought.

Buying on the 7th day of the week has been up and down with last week buying a couple hundred more sats.
As you can see over the first 2 weeks the price of BTC was pretty steady but this rally has pushed the total BTC bought to only 0.00019258. This makes for a total of 0.00064103 and 622 sats less than the 3 week daily buys.
