Savings
I want to tackle this topic because this is important. I am employed after I graduate in college but I admit I do not have enough savings right now. As what I learned in college to my Finance teacher, after we received our salary we must set aside a portion of it like 10% or more for our savings then the rest will allocated for expenses. Most of us Filipinos, after receiving our salaries, we spent those amounts to our expenditures like house bills, groceries, personal items, foods, leisures and the remainder is set aside for savings. But how sure we are that there will be leftovers after spending those expenses？ Yes, like the story of the ants and it is also Biblical, they prepare foods during summer by helping each other then when rainy season comes, they have enough foods to eat. Savings is really important right now especially when tragedy comes like what we are experiencing with the pandemic now. People loss their jobs, some businesses closed, and others struggle for their health. Do we have enough food or savings in bank or even a piggy bank like a child does？ It is not too late my friend. Start to save now for your present and future.

It was a lot of hard work to save on the amount and cost of money it was never able to save, it was not enough that my husband was still in debt, but at least I had a piggy bank for five new and ten pesos. .

Meron din yung 2kids ko na piggy bank.. everytime na may magbibigay sakanila na pera nireremind ko sila na hulugan yung piggy bank nila,,pag medyo malaki ang binigay sakanila kalahati ng pera nila ang pinahuhulog ko...

Saving at early stages is very important for securing a better future. I believe there should be classes on importance of savings in school

I'm also studying accounting and yes we have to save always, tho it is difficult sometimes when you have a lot of expenses to pay for, but we have to try our best... Thanks for the post.
